Wow Zhao Jun Peng is only 2 years younger than Axelsen? I thought he’s a youngster in his early 20’s, like 21/22.

Looks like a one sided match.

Seems like a vast difference in experience and level at interval of 1st game. Maybe ZJP will warm up and do better in 2nd game?

VA can take this as a training match.

Bottom bracket is much weaker without AA, LS, and old Momota.

Man, only Lee Zii Jia can fight toe to toe against this monster. Everyone is always down 1-6 immediately.

Any finals with VA in it should be played first. I just want to watch MD and be done with it. Had to wait 3 hours for this.

Seems like Zhao Jun Peng got lucky in his bracket, in that CTC, Laksha Sen, and Momota were eliminated for him. Potential wise, the hardest opponent for Zhao Jun Peng was Jonathan Christie, but Jonathan Christie is not at his best form these days and not playing to his best potential. This leads to a finals against the best player in the world, and it's lopsided so far.

Zhao Jun Peng needs to bring his A++ game today. Even his A game is not enough to beat Viktor. Zhao Jun Peng is simply outclassed.

It’s 2:35 am in US West Coast. I can’t believe I stayed up for this match. What a total let down!
