Higashino looks perpetually shell shocked. Crap defence, no idea how to close down the net. It’s like Yuta is playing 1v2 half the time.

Feel bad for yuta, it seems like everyone is not good enough for him, both in MD and XD.

TTY races to an 11-0 lead in Game 2 after losing it 21-23! Wow!

Wang Yihiy's attack is lethal. No Wang Shixian is she.

It looked like Wang Zhi Yi was going to come back and capitalize from Tai Tzu Ying's errors but TTY began to play better and reduce her mistakes. WZY herself started making mistakes in the latter stages of the 3rd game and TTY's fantastic net play/deceptions gave us all a delight to watch, especially that final point! Congrats TTY!

Did TTY ever say she gonna retire after the Olympic? Had the OG being played as it is and she retired in 2020 , that will be such a waste.

Hirota looking half way dead as usual. Why come back if not fully recovered? Even Steen thinks she’s dead weight being carried.

Fukushima was doing way better with Matsumoto in Uber.

Many WD players have terrible forms for their backhand. A lot of them swing with their full arms and no supination.

Maybe TTY can give them some lessons. Lol

Fukushima/Hirota are has-been history. No wonder they could never win a WC gold in so many attempts. Time to retire the partnership.

They still got it if they went all the way to the final of a Super 1000 tournament. They should play on selected tournaments to maintain their form and work on their weaknesses like their serves.

TBH, technique goes down the gutter when you are late on BH.
