Not sure how much did LS want it, neither KS.
I couldn't watch the match, The scoreline however can't just be translated into "outplayed". Taking nothing away from HSP, and even Brice for that matter.

Momota is history. Slow and too many chances gone. Many like me wants to see him comeback. Unfortunately he cant. Needs an overhaul. Time running out. Its like too many chances given to him to repent. He just cant.

I will chop if he can win msia open. Kekeke.

A sad ending for him. ;(

Interesting to see lky play lzj and viktor if he can go all the way. Will viktor give him opportunity to win, since this is a s1000 big money event? Lol ;)

He is still able to enjoy winning lower level tournaments.
By the way, anybody knows why players benefit ranking points from 2019-2020? Seems unfair to new players.

Kento Momota disastrous form seems persistent and hardly to go in brief moment, he was visibly struggling physically and mentally last night, something very rare happened in 2018/2019. Both players traded points in many long rallies to score point until mid game of final game, 13-13 then Gemke took cruise control to attack frequently, leaving his weary-faced opponent, the Dane celebrated his first ever victory of six encounters. Another seeded player tumbled in last quarter MS draw, Lakshya Sen was helpless, outclassed by fellow country man Prannoy, creating big prospect for the underdog to seize oppotunity to progress into semis.

I watched it. Leaving KS aside, atleast Sen tried everything on court but could not score points. Prannoy was outstanding yesterday. Sen has to learn a lot.

It started in 2018 after the asian games, that's the turning point. Honestly kinda miss the old days, nowadays you can't even criticize players without their fangirls being so defensive

I wonder if fukishima/hirota are okay? Fukushima in particular looks off, and from the distance provided by the Livestream, she doesn't seem very into it

the japanese pair might look off a bit.. but they hardly make any mistakes.. malaysians are the more aggresive and creative pair but they squandered their lead on too many on mistakes.. they seem to like hitting into the net ...

KM had more elegance and finesse at his prime according to me. He was less boring.

VA has 14 SS titles while Momota has 18 SS. VA has OG + WC while KM has 2 WC.

When its all and done, i wonder who will be the more succesful player?

Mo was more boring to me. A defensive player dominated alone was such a disaster

This WD match is crazy.. no way INA wd can stand up to Korea WD, the way she handles racket is so amateurish that its so unbelievable.

Feels like INA will have 2 good WD in the future, unlike Greysiap era. Febriana looks really good height wise, dont remember INA ever have this kind of player before like TangJinhua / BaoYixin

Both are boring when their preparation for the shot and timing is so good. You seldom see action which makes the crowd scream. If only you could give Loh's legs to these robots you could enjoy the match the most.
