From 17-14 to 19-21? Yuuge Choke. he need to stamp his aura of invincibility atleast on these high school peers, but instead he lost to KV and LSF in a row.
In fact he was 17-10 in g3 to squander it at the end. It appeared like the playing conditions were quite tricky in the arena- there was a lot of visible drift. Both players were struggling to keep the shuttle in. Another lesson for LS in the form of court conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was watching short highlights of his match. Now, it tempts me to watch his full match again. Surely, his win boosted the morale of the team. His winning was very crucial for 3-0 otherwise things would have gone to HSP and who knows how his physical condition was?
Lakshya interview after winning against Ginting Checkout Sen on winning match 1 on Voot https://voot.app.link/nnZH8DyE3pb
It was a crucial match of tie. He needed to set the tone. When he was down by just 4 points in the mid game interval, I had a feeling LS will take the game after changing sides. What surprised me was the way he played the second part of g3. I was expecting a typical KM-style grilling of ASG at back court during 3 setters, however LS turned up his speed, and became the aggressor, which was out of blue for me. Because I thought he doesn’t have that attacking form from back court (at least he hasn’t shown that in the last few months), rather he plays a neutralizing shot, and moves to the front court, which was largely capitalized by VA & LZJ. They both took half step forward to control the net to counter those back court shots from LS. I think the lesson here is- his attack may not be sharp from the back court, but it can very well penetrate a mentally/physically fatigued opponent in those long grueling games Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He was even sick during the entire flight to Bangkok from Hyderabad. We could only give two days of rest for him and forced him to play against Germany." "I was very disappointed by the way he played the first game. But he was confident I am sure. He had defeated Ginting earlier in the German Open. It showed his temperament. I am simply proud of him," concludes Kumar.
He did well. Fitness is good due to his lung capacity. Need an attacking guy with 2 sets like lzj to beat him. He will kill off and loose dangling shot.

Congrats Lakshya for winning CWG 2022 Gold. Many non badminton Indian followers took notice of you today for this feat. Proud of you, man.
Didn’t LS attack more often in this tournament? We seldom saw him attack from the back court over the past year. I wonder if this will be his new game approach Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats to Lakshya Sen for winning the CWG gold. NTY, who should be ranked much higher, really gave me scare. But Lakshya did great! If Lakshya can improve his speed and agility and trains with good sparring partners he will be hard to stop.
