Also thats just the central government state governments will lay more money on players also different businessmen and other tycoons will lay them with hundred thousand dollars. How you think PVS became one of the the worlds richest female athlete because of her Big Stage Tittles and medals and thats why such Major achievements make players millionares overnight. Its great boost to Badminton for sure so Badminton won !!
Yes, no support when players need. And when they prove and win something big , then there is a flood of gifts, money and govt jobs. In India, first prove yourself and then get the cake.
It's good to see the players from India getting prize money from their government. Hopefully they also get prize money from businesses as well. I remember Sindhu got a BMW from a private company when she won the WC (or was that the silver at Olympics? I can't remember). In any case, if badminton becomes more popular in India, and India's economy grows further, this means more money for top level badminton tournaments. With India's economy growing, China's economy growing, and the economy of other developing countries growing like Indonesia, Thailand, etc, the prize money of badminton will only grow in the future, which will draw more athletes to consider badminton as a profession. Also, I hope the Premier Badminton League comes back to India next year. That was a very fun tournament to watch, but I understand because of covid, it has been temporarily paused.
Congrats India for beating the best on the planet and proving your mettle to the world by winning the most prestigious Badminton Team event on the planet and well played Indonesia the GOATS of Team World Championships both of you are well worthy of our respect. I hope Li flies to bkk and joins Liu and for heaven's sake someone will do something about CHN Men's team...I believe I saw GOAT Sir Zhang Jun today and I hope he does something about it or team CHN fans will probably have to be happy by seeing other teams play thats it. See you folks at Thailand Open Take Care
what excuses did ina coachs and ina players say? they should have brought cico as ms4 not kevin lost to ind 0-3 is very humiliating
So reason for INA not winning is that they didn’t play a 37-year old? I know he is a legend but I think this is a stretch…
See I know its humiliating for INA to have lost 0-3 to IND which I feel they have only such loss against CHN so it is indeed very upsetting thing but I feel somewhere this MD experiment with Kevin proved costly to INA. I had said it before during group stages days that INA is best at MD but their MS are not reliable and thats exactly what happened given INDs main strength is their MS who are all very prominent and experienced players and the youngster Lakshya is a super star anyways but their bonus is Satwik and chirag who on their best day could beat anyone and thats exactly what happened. I dunno why Marcus wasnt playing but I feel INA needs to work with its MS department more than on MD experiments ..I know when Legend Sir Taufik had rightly pointed out the flaws in MS then whole Indonesian netizens were going crazy but C'mon when an Olympic Champion speaks you must listen.
Marcus Gideon had an operation in early April. https://www.archyworldys.com/recent...ke-action-on-the-field-netizen-cant-wait-koh/
He has left. There's a news article in The Star today. https://www.thestar.com.my/sport/ba...urn-to-malaysia-after-successful-korean-stint Was it because of the appointment of SJH?
Oh dear...I hooe he is back soon but I do feel he needs off time and rest with such medical situation..thanks for notifying me.
You mean Indian Coaches ? Each Coach and staff member will be rewarded INR 20 Lakh each which is equal to 25,794 USD and thats just the gov announced amount not the overall gift money and cars etc which they will be given.
