I think Denmark is the team that everyone wants to avoid.

    To quote @Zalmon :

"Humidity is 71% right now. There is nothing they can do due the slippery. It also will most likely rain again soon. I have played on all kind of carpet Yonex, Victor , or even Li-ning. If the weather were like this and they are placed on the ground level, there is nothing you could do to ease."

According to his insight/personal experience I don't see Yonex or LN mats doing better in that regard.
Victor mats have been excellent in the past and this is the first time I have heard complaints on them when used at professional level...

They might have. All I’m trying to say is we don’t see any improvements compared to the previous days. This potentially will pose a career threatening injury to any high profile player

    What if

If Indonesia cannot take the group, then Denmark also choose to be the second to avoid to Indonesia, and Japan also.

LOL, then Denmark, Indonesia and Japan can avoid each other.

Taipei or India in another group is the same to "The Three."

I think India will be the new Thomas Cup champion.

Why JC was not selected? And why not Ahsan Hendra? Really puzzling with their decisions.

I believe CHN can beat DEN, only Axelsen is invincible, not the others

Nope, every team has a chance. No dominant team at the moment unlike those days when CHN was always the favourite. It depends on how the QF draw pans out.

MD 1 and 2 could go either way.
Ou hasn't been playing particularly well from what I heard so far, so Astrup/Rasmussen will be tough for them (assuming the Danes are in good shape).
    MD2 seems to favor CHN.

MS2 and MS3 will be tough. Even if Antonsen and Vittinghus are not in prime form they are very decent as 2nd/3rd singles and I would give them the slight edge

DEN have split Astrup/Rasmussen using scratch pairs. So my prediction is that CHN win the MD1&2, DEN win MS1, MS2 is probably DEN. MS3, if Vittinghus isnt in better shape than what he has been of late it will be an easy win for WHY

I dont think a team that loses 3-2/4-1 to Chinese Taipei can win
Currently all other quarter finalists are stronger than india except maaybe korea
Korea should be winning the ms3 and if it dioes, then if india avoids denmark, it will be a better situation
as india will have to face Korea, China, Malaysia or Japan depending on other results and draw results

^-^ so, Indonesia will be at the second in the group and also China ???

Then taking the top of the group was meaningless in other groups. LOL

Suddenly, a match between two players outside top 600 turned into one of the most exciting matches of the day.. this is what Thomas/Uber Cup can do!!
