Humidity is 71% right now. There is nothing they can do due the slippery. It also will most likely rain again soon. I have played on all kind of carpet Yonex, Victor , or even Li-ning. If the weather were like this and they are placed on the ground level, there is nothing you could do to ease.

Here is a shot of C4 with BWF Officials and line judges busy mopping the court for a long time than usual and I reckon it has something to do with humidity and weather conditions that persist there at BKK and presumably all the courts are facing these skiddy conditions.:(

Just praying for all the players safety :( Screenshot_20220509-103817_YouTube.jpg

This time is usually summer time in BKK , but we have a storm hitting us right now. Last time, it held here. There was not any rain nor storm. Also, last Thailand open was held at another location on the other side of town which I think it was not on the ground level.

You are right. Currently Thailand is having very weird weather. It is suppose to be their hottest month and not so much rain for the year but it has been raining every day as well as the forecast for the week. This year is really strange.

GJW slips. If they can't change the carpet, the players can change to anti-slip soles.

Thomas Cup Group B, a stuttering start for China to beat the rising French team, 5-0 that more or less could decribe the quality of current China men's team strength. Lu GZ is pushed into the limit to play gruelling match to outlast Christo Popov, just two minutes shy of two hours, suspected it's longest MS match in Thomas Cup history. 26 years old Lu made good comeback in final game from trailed behind 9-14 as his much younger opponent suffered cramp on his leg due to many tiring rallies occur to score point. Popov stole the show in this tie though unable to contribute winning point as he with older brother Toma showed up in last match and once again involved in three games to show impressive determination. Something promising ahead for FRA rookies particularly their singles department.

I think the WS2 and WS3 are lower ranked than GJW and Kisona. So it's not a protest

    Ginting continues in self-destruct mode,
it's time for Chico or another young player to take on his role
