It's crazy. I was naive to even place any bets in this tournament.

Watching an se young match now. Every shot by Zhang yi man going out. Very similar to Kim GA eun yesterday.

I guess in this tournament, it's the best time to place bets on underdog because if I am an established player, I would probably not take this tournament seriously.

    They should cancel this

Guess why okuhara retired as well.

They should held in Vietnam. The stadium below will be held for SEA games 31, just 1 week after Asia Championship finished.

Players can play better in big stadium. The players who will play SEA game can get more time to play and rest in just 1 stadium (no need to move to anywhere).

Players who play Thomas/Uber cup will have a shorter distance to move. (from Vietnam to Thailand instead of Philippine to Thailand)

Agreed, maybe I’m just being way too nice. I didn’t realized it’s a S1000 tournament until I went to check on it as well

Should have suspected it's a "low quality" s1000 just by the fact that they cannot organized the whole thing properly.

Weng Hongyang nearly lost on experience and stamina, noticeably in G3 despite a hefty lead. Undoubtedly, WHY demonstrated an amazing defence and quick reflexes coupled with a stinging smash; in fact, his defensive ability, in full display for the better part of G3, was so good that Kidambi felt compelled to go for the lines and do a little bit extra, hence more prone to errors.

Seriously, WHY must work on his fitness (he's visibly fatigued in the last third of the decider), in addition to acquiring much-needed experience for which there's no substitute except to play many more tourneys.

I feel that the player who play close to the camera angle will be disadvantaged.

Did you feel the same ?

Funny, Nishimoto just copy mechanically movements from Momota, don't be smooth

    QUARTERFINAL (04.00pm) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...997-DC20-41A7-A871-7917A79C4FE5&d=20220429&c=

A substandard event of the upgraded BAC that providing limited live streaming, staged in small-sized stadium that causing frequent problem, uncontrollable and wild drift, an irony for high grade S1000 tournament.

Reigning world champion Loh Kean Yew must answer the doubt and prove Huelva historical moment isn't one hit wonder story as the Singaporean scores string of unimpressive result since then, back to back first round in Europe became latest evidence. Loh takes on Asian Games champion Jonatan Christie who also has fluctuated trend in his career trajectory thus far. Jojo was stretched into full distance by tricky MAS veteran Liew Daren. China begins to signal their progressive development slowly through recent KOR Open winner Weng HY who subdued Srikanth in three games, sounds interesting how he will respond Ginting that projected to be fast game considering both players similar style of play. Indonesian back-up player Chico Wardoyo continues his gallant run into last eight and finds 2018 YOG Champion Li SF.

Women's singles last eight will more concentrate on top-half draw, Akane Yamaguchi had to dig deep to defeat INA debutant Komang Dewi, the 19 years old underdog has the noteworthy offensive shot and quick reaction that really pressured the title-holder. The world Champion proves her class to overcome arduous situation into victory, made crucial comeback at the end of final game, Thai rival Chochuwong standing on next path. A blockbuster duel, reproduction of Tokyo OG bronze medal match will pit He BJ against Sindhu who had scary escape in opening round. the Chinese lefthander exhibits terrific transformation in new season and the Indian mega star should be one of perfect tests to assess her improvement and consistency.
    • One enticing women's doubles clash to look forward, two-time World Champions Chen/Jia will be challenged by Japan latest hotshots Matsuyama/Shida who showcased incredible and near flawless performance in All England last month while China mainstays seem have modest presentation, won S300 title in GER but produced contrast fashion in Birmingham then pulled out in subsequent tours.
    • Watanabe/Higashino meet regular foes Tan/Lai who often pose fierce threat in their encounter, the Malaysians just won S500 victory in Suncheon recently, perhaps it's gonna be close contest as their last meeting in 2021 World Championships last sixteen. An on-off partnerships Zheng/Huang haven't found any significant obstacles so far and they're slated to meet INA independent pair Jordan/Oktavianti in semis.
    • Malaysia has most number quarterfinal representative in men's doubles department more than its giant neighbour INA. Aaron Chia/Soh WY against Rankireddy/Shetty should absorb biggest attention, the Indian combination never won in three previous meetings. Top-seeds Ahsan/Setiawan were ousted yesterday, lost with big margin scoreline to CHN revamped pair Ren XY/Tan Q.

I watched Weng hongyan vs srikanth's match. In the 3rd game, Srikanth was catching up with a string of points , then weng immediately took medical timeout in order to break the rhythm and he did it . Then he keep on going for towel break and asks for court to be moped. Even umpire kept warning him.
But nevertheless, he is a good all round player which China need at the moment. His defences and attack are very good. But still early to compare him to Lindan. Lindan's shot making is second to none. Please let this kid play freely without any further pressure and succumb to it in the long run.

Doubles should be more predictable in such conditions as rallies start off with low serves.

    Momota is history. No.more smashing.

If players follow my tips, they can beat him easily. Nothing to fear. Just drag him all over.

    Court 1 good matches. ;)
