nah... Racket are very personal preference. One best not always others best or i could say all racket exist nowdays are the best racket on the right hand.
The video isn't too bad (apart from the title). They pretty much say it's their own preference. Yes they're Victor sponsored but did say they tried out 7 different rackets before choosing this one. I actually would've preferred a video on how they chose this one. Anyway more useful for those people who are using their previous rackets 90k and bxr. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
On the other hand there are many biased Youtubers out there (even lurking and posting here) who are just fanboys of specific brand or an idol and not even sponsored, but run a business or fade in their own products. Only reviews of @Ch1k0 here are the real deal (no front) for me. All others can also deliver useful informations and data, but I'm still there a bit careful, too. IMO Greg an Jenny can pick out of the whole Victor range and for people who are interested to pick a Victor out of the current range it could be useful, to get impressions by some pros and how they see/rate rackets and what is for them important.
Auraspeed Hypersonic 3U Setup: Original grip removed, 1 thin layer of transparent tape, AC102 Factory Weight: 88gr Final Weight: 89gr Factory Head Weight: 38-39gr Final Head Weight: 41-42gr Factory Balance Point: 298-300 Final Balance Point: 312-314 Grommet Pattern: 3+2, 76 holes Feels good in my hand. Head weight is heavier than 90S so yes, 90S is faster than this "Hypersonic". I don't have any complaint. All good. I enjoy playing with this Hypersonic racket. I enjoy a lot playing with 90S 3U but not 90K 3U. I dont like TKF Enhanced 4U either. Sold TKF to a friend, and the handle snap after few games. Poor quality. 98K 3U is even balance racket. Its good to have. In short, you will be ok with Auraspeed Hypersonic 3U but 90S 3U is still the winner (for me). Hypersonic is having a heavier head, so potentially could deliver a stronger punch than 90S. Note: I will not measure again how the smash, lob, drop feels like when using a racket. It has a lot of factors i.e. your stamina at the point of time, your skills and techniques (its vary time to time), your game mood etc. Here is my suggestion for medium intermediate: 90S 3U - recommended (Slight Head Heavy) 98K 3U - good to have (Even Balance) HS 3U - good to have (Head Heavy but Fast) 70K 3U - good to have (Slight Head Heavy) 100X 3U - not recommended 90K 3U - not recommended 80X 3U - not recommended I dont think I need to suggest a racket for high intermediate and above.
Thank you for this!!! Headheaviness comparison is great. It looks like I may try this if one of my js12ii decides to give up. Could you tell me (I found some pictures but was not able to tell) how thick is the frame, is it more like 90s or a bit thicker like 90k? Thanks again
Nice AS-HS. Would you say your 3U was on the lighter side? I would also like to know about the frame thinnest compared to other auraspeeds. Was tempted to try to get one but its on the medium stiff side while I think my AS-PB is considered Stiff+
You can see the picture below, HS (top), 90S (bottom) Its a normal 3U, factory weight 88gr, final weight with my setup 89gr. Do take a note on the balance point.
Tyvm for the picture. So unless my eyes play with me. The HS has a slightly thicker frame. I feel I kinda been played with all this marketing stuff from Victor IG page "thinner / stiffer dynamic sword" Oh well still gotta try it when I get the chance and the TKF-EH
