Hey guys, hope someone can help me out.. I just bought a new badminton jersey and wore it on my company's touranament. but i found out even i wash so many times but still smelly due to sweats.. I'm not sure if the washer, detergent or the jersey material itself... have tips ?
Check out this thread: https://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/index.php?threads/stinky-shirt.25003/ I find using hot water cycle in the washing machine helps kill some stinky bacteria.
Most of the stink is from the armpit areas. Make sure to use some peroxide spray there pre wash like Oxiclean Sent from my SM-G988W using Tapatalk
i seee! but hot water can ah ? coz of the material itself i afraid will destroy the jersey.. anyway i will read the thread above for my references..
i get what u mean bcs it can be annoying right. I think u might need to soak ur clothes in hot water first if u have time. if it consume too much time maybe u need to go dobi
yeaa but scrubbing the body may not help as much to some people. could also be the tub is old so the smell cannot get rid of as much
right.. i do sports too and when my clothes get smelly its not from my body. but actually its i didnt wash my tub thoroughly. im glad i didnt use that washer anymore. im using new one noww
hot water doesnt really effects the clothes though. but some times it does effect on your bill. so better to find a washer that can help save both electricity and water!
True tho bcoz hot water does shrink certain types of fabric sometimes and colours start to fade. You can also opt for one of the many sports detergents on the market so that the clothes come out smelling fresh after doing laundry
Washing machine needs tub cleaning too. Ideally, you must wash your washing machine at least once a month to remove the residues of laundry detergents and fabric softener that form a layer of gunk in the wash drum.
LG front load washer use less water and i think hot wash use a lot more electricity compared to cold wash. So if not needed do not wash your clothes on hot settings better just put on normal wash .
i do sometimes manually wash tub by running an empty load with hot water and vinegar. can try to open the top of the machine and let it sit for an hour. after that let the machine run a complete cycle.
hurmmm are that brand got inverter?? i think it depends on the material like me, use panasonic washer also no problem to wash jersey material.. in fact, they helps to kill 99.99% by using their blue ag+ no more sweaty smells
ouuhhhhh never know that sodium bicarbonate can use to wash a jersey. thanks! hope it will not ruin my jersey hehehe first time wanna try hehe
thanks for the advice and for the info coz i never know that washer nowadays got that kind of technology maybe will purpose to my dad to buy one hahahaha coz right now i always have a badminton training and need to make sure all of my clothes clean and smells good.
