WS is and has been the best discipline of the 5 for a while.

Seeing how AY plays, somehow proves that size and physical shape aren't really a barrier to achievement

AY looking good so far. ASY looks a bit subdued today or made to look that way by AY's play.

ASY needs to develop some weapons. Her game is neat and clean but there’s not something you look at and go that’s dangerous.

If Yamaguchi had peaked earlier last year, she could have won an Olympic gold. Anyways, I think Yamaguchi and ASY will be another thorn in TTY's quest to win a WC.

NO has a totally different style. She plays more old school women’s singles and that worked for her very well in 15-17. She struggles with the new breed of CYF, AY, TTY as her game has always been defensive.

I also think after her surgery in 2017 she lost a bit of foot speed and the ability to change direction which was very crucial for her game.

AY’s form continues in 2022. She seems to me the best WS atm

If this young MS couple fikri/maulana can win the title it will be very good for INA badminton.
They can share the burden with fernaldi/sukamuljo and ahsan/setiawan,
something that pratama/suwardi and alfian/ardianto have failed to do previously.

what i meant was NO n AY from same country n train together.... considering the similar physique i would've expected they play more similar than now...... i mean they literally got the same stamina... same big short legs.... n probably same coach? no? yes? why the brain & play differ so much especially it's been some time now proven that NO style doesn't work as well as AY's

yeah the mentality needs to be built. We dont want to be thinking losing in the Final. AaronSoh reached AE final in 2019 and since then they havent won title, for example.

G1 to FikriMaulana. Good fight from AhsanHendra. The spirit in them still doesnt want to lose to someone 10+years younger.

I don't think they train together considering they are from different clubs.
