Good that SK avoided this embarrassment. Looks like KM’s loss today gave VA more confidence

Ginting needs to apply a different way of playing from the start of the match when he faces Axelsen: he should not try so hard scoring points with fast attacking game but instead just try to keep the shuttle in play for as long as possible and rally Axelsen around

Ginting can’t do that. It is always one pace with him- fast and furious. Sometimes I feel he is “unnecessarily” fast

I really miss MomoGi matches. MomoGi was destroyed by tall and power smashing players.

Now, at last, at 1-4 down in G2 Ginting finally plays the way I want him to do

He couldnt keep it up for more than 1 rally. now down 3-11, lets hope Jonatan Christie can do better (Chou lost to Axelsen so many times that I rather want JC to progress, nothing personal against Chou, I like him)

I'd to see if JC can stop VA, it feels like only LZJ (maybe KM ?) can beat him atm...

Okay. That was a good warm up for SF tomorrow, which may as well turn up into a warm game

Agreed and his anticipations are completely off now. But you know he has been through too much.

If Huang and Wang win, who will walkover between them and Zheng/Huang tomorrow ?

Are the Chinese really doing that? No way hbj just sat at the side and let chen yu fei go...she beat her last week.
They better not walkover. Although it seems zheng/Huang will be separated. I think they only got together here because they qualified with older pairs?

    No improvement whatsoever

If melati gets fit and praveen takes it more serious, they'd be the best XD pair by a mile.
