Can't tell about the 4u versions, but the 3u model of the Tectonic 9 is way stiffer than the 3u AXF80. Probably very similar with the 4u variants
Bored at work I watched this: Interesting fact that the sticker on the AX80 CL says that it has a harder shaft then the regular AX80 but on the shaft itself they are all marked as flexible. I don't understand Indonesian but he puts some rackets on a yonex precision scan. Here are the readings (all dry, no strings, grip with plastic on). i have axforce 80 4u and friend has yonex 100zz , in looks axfroce 80 looks good - simple and clean look . axforce 90 flames is looking cheap in pics i agree . i have tectonic 9 also and its looks cool .
Played one session with it yesterday. Felt good. Much more flex and not as head heavy as the Tectonic 9. So it was much more user friendly. Actually, it did felt like my Victor Jetspeed S12 (4U) but with a little bit more flex.
Anyone knows what is the specification difference between Axforce 80 and 90? Can't find any nice comprehensive review for the 90 on youtube.
I have an unused brand new spare AXForce 4U here (UK) I imported from Thailand. In fact I recommend strongly to buy your Li-Ning gear from there and have it shipped EMS. Never had any additional charges added that way (Import taxes and duties).

Can someone please explain why Li Ning racquets are so expensive compared to the other big brands? 250€ is pretty insane for an Axforce 80 when a Yonex Astrox 99 Pro is only 175€.
Just don't buy them in Europe. Purchase in Asia and have it shipped to you or ask a friend/family member to bring it over from there
On the other hand every second Yonex I get for 175€ make some noises around the handle, but never noticed this on any Li-Ning. IMO YY quality and LN quality are not compareable. But often there is no logical argument to pay the difference. Also at Yonex when we see the gap between tour and pro.
I find it strange that in Asia Li-Ning Racquets are expensive. In Canada Li-Ning is cheaper then what I see from HK and China. In Canada, Yonex is the most expensive, Victor is in the middle and Li-Ning is the cheapest. Li-Ning Canada gets the new stuff about 8 to 12 months after their released date.
BTW, if we wanna talk in general about why Li-Ning is so expensive, I can say that I got my 4 N7II in total for 439€ and bought 3 in Germany, 1 in France at reliable shops in brandnew condition. At most brands I would get 3 or 2.5 rackets for this value of money and nobody is forced to buy rackets immediately before they are global available. And as long as just a few shops sell the AX80, I wouldn't be surprised that the prices are high. The shops I buy from here don't have them listed and even not all Tectonics are offered. I got the impression that LN prices are initial higher, but also have the potential to drop more, while Yonex is pretty constant. Even in the fifth year (since 2017) you still pay 150€ for an Astrox77 or 175€ for a Duora Z-Strike. But I see the point that 250€ is most players too high. I wouldn't pay this for a racket, too. My personal limit is 150€ for a racket since several years because I don't buy a single one, minimum is always two and 500€ for 2 rackets is insane.
