Anyone still play with the original Tantrum 500? What are your thoughts on it?

thank you , yes i was goin to get lethal 60 ii on your recommendation but sadly they dot have 3u one , only 4u.

And yes lhi pro ii is priced 70$ at shop nearby but i couldnt find many reviews.

also not apacs but he has tk770 too for 50$ , will decide between that , lhi ii pro or tantrum x . I would like to hold rackets in hand bud sadly shop is only working online due to covid for now so found it hard to decide.

I prefer T200, it's a more rounded racket for doubles. But this depends on your style and preference.

Sorry about invading the APACS post with Technist, but here's a post of what racket he uses. Technist says he uses their TECH v66 string.

I owned several apacs rackets, the one that I enjoyed the most is Ziggler LHI. It's light and head heavy, great for both offense and defense, perfect attacking racket both for single and double play IMHO.

Apacs lineup is a mess to me.
    Anyone can help me?
I'm looking for a even balance, medium to stiff racket. Or whatever is closest to Arcsaber 11, if that's even possible at Apacs range, sorry I'm new to the racket world.

In my own experience, Apacs Virtuoso Performance is pretty close to Arcsaber 11. But i'm not an expert as well, anyone on this thread is free to correct me on this matter though.

Correct me if I am wrong but AVP has more sword like frame which is very fast to swing and is very different to arcsabee in that sense ? AVP is more of a clone of some of victor rackets particularly close to bs12 . I own AVP but havent played with arc11 to compare tho .

Anyway , on a side note a shop nearby had both tantrumm 200 ii and tantrum x and I held both in hand and they felt pretty much identical , even with dry swings .

But since he had only single t200 ( I generally buy 2 of same rackets ) and was priced much higher too . Think ill grab tantrum x .

I think specs are similar too iirc ? . Anyone here has any experience here or played with tantrum x in particular ?

I've owned both AVP and BS12, I would say AVP is slightly slower than BS12 in terms of speed, however it does have the punching power which BS12 lacks in as it feels slightly heavy head compare to BS12 which is more towards head light / balance feel. AVP doesn't have the sword frame like BS12, however the frame is abit thinner compare to usual Yonex's box frame racket.

Is there anything medium flex and ultra stable in the Apacs range?

Most rackets in Apacs are medium flex. What do you mean by ultra stable?

I used to own AVP and Virtuoso Pro Robert Blair, which I have sold since. Arc 11 is one of my go-to rackets now. Both AVP and VP are both head heavy rackets and have the sword-like frame. Arc 11 is even balance with aero frame which also helps increase the swing speed. AVP and VP performs better in attacking due to its heavier head, but defence-wise and drive is slower. Arc 11 is more of an all-rounder racket. The head feels beefier so it's able to give you some good smashes, while control is good too due to its even balance head. I use a 3U arc11 and my arms don't feel tired playing with it, but AVP and VP i tend to feel the weight on my arm and shoulder after a while, most likely due to its 3U weight + head heavy combo.
