As per title, I have a badminton facility 10 minutes from my house but cant seem to find players around my level(slightly above beginner) that plays regularly.

I need to drive around 25-30 minutes 1 way to play badminton usually.
So my question is whats your usually travel distance for badminton.
Just for fun nothing to serious.

On work days as short as possible. Im tired after all my task today & need to get to work again tomorow. So i prefer to play on a court that is 1 way to my home or at least 10 minute.
On holiday, like my sunday club i dont care much. I had to drive 40-45 minute to the court & i set my mind not to become lazy & had to play no matter what. Its my hobby & my health. 6 day work behind the desk... I need to work out myself to stay healthy.

I live in a city of 5 million, so traveling an hour to get anywhere isn't abnormal (and at rush hour time if it's only an hour it's a miracle.) I play at 3 clubs every week and the closest one is only 5km away but can take me 20-30 minutes to get there cause of traffic. The furthest is a combo trip of bus ride-subway-bus ride so I always plan an hour for the trip.

Oh wow it seems people on here do take some time to travel for badminton, I thought I was an outlier all this while.

There are three places within 25 minutes of my house (of which I play at two of them).

I sometimes cycle over 10km to a gym. Considering the hills, stoplights, and old legs, that can take upwards of half an hour. I used to go to the same facility by public transit and that would take 40-60 minutes. These days, I cycle 2.5 or 6km to play.

Your mode of transportation is enough for you to warm-up and can go straight into the court. :D
