Great stuff by Srikanth. I hope he keeps this up, I would love to see him win this one.

Loh's speed and reaction are just incredible  I really want to know how he'd trained. Court coverage, attack and net kills are nearly at MD pace

Well, LKY finally got in the zone in the 1st set, after he was down by a lot of points. When LKY got in the zone, Srikanth started making some mistakes as well, something he wasn't doing in the first 9 points. And there goes the first set for LKY because of that.

All matches today were over in 2 games. Will this go the distance? With LKY form it seems unlikely

LKY takes game 1. Bad signs for Srikanth who started making mistake as soon as the game got close at 13-13

Srikanth was leading 9-3 and then 11-7 at the interval, only for naught as Loh Kean Yew powered through - winning 10 of the next 12 pts to make it 17-13. Since then, Srikanth only won 2 more pts and Loh wrapped the first set 21-15 in just 16 mins!

He will. He shook it off in the first half of the first game. I don't think it's going to happen again.

^-^ Lucky for Viktor that Olympic was held on August, not December this year.
