    LCW didnt win AG before?

Feels like there could be many retirements from TTY, Intanon , Okuhara (status), maybe HBJ as well. Only ASY as new star. Is it bleak?

To this day I still do not understand why did BWF decided to give her that award over AY or CYF who had achieved way more than her.

TTY retirement alone will be a big loss for WS and maybe badminton as a whole with ageing stars.

Just let tty run around. Am trying to challenge her to prove me wrong ;)

Congrats to Sapsiree/Dechapol and Yamaguchi for their first WC. Thai pair have such unity. AY has been immense since her racquet switch her shots have been so much sharper. Will Watanabe play MD again? I hope TTY plays on for one more crack at gold now

Really happy for Yamaguchi, finally winning one of the big big titles! She played smartly today and did not let TTY dictate the match. It has been a busy last few months for her, but there is no better way to end the year than a World Championship title!

TTY has such good sportmanship! 9 out of 10 players would probably challenge that last line call, but she accepted what she saw and allowed her opponent to win without drama. Yamaguchi looked like she didn't believe that point either, lol. Really hope that she continues playing on because she is such a lovely person to see on court.

Why would HBJ retire at 24? She is playing well lately, just need more consistency.

I would be very upset the day I hear of any of these retirements...Cant even imagine what Id do the day Marin and Sindhu declare retirement but I know it would come and Id be sad but happy that they both achieved all the big medals and got their names in History books.

I really hoped that TTY would win this WC tittle and finally break that *MAJOR JINX* because she already has everything except Badminton's biggest tittle and its just sad to see her today losing posibly her last and only and best chance for that cause AY is still young and could go on to win another WC Tittle and Surely can win an Oly medal in 24 but I really wished TTY had won it.

For Ratchanok it was her dream to win the Oly Medal but I feel even though 24 is not far away but with ASY,AY,ZYM and Other young girls coming up with fire it would be very very hard.

still pray that may she retire with an Oly medal.

In terms of podium celebration AY is Kimi Raikkonen of badminton. :)
As for TTY I love her style, but it only shows the old truth - talent alone won't win you anything.

I am really scared for Kidambi. If he makes many unforced errors, then no way he is winning against LKY.

If I were KS's coach I'd just ask him to not overtly show any nerves or disappointment if shots go out or LKY retrieves what would be certain winners against other players. Keep a poker face. He's assured silver he has a free shot for gold. LKY has been a sensation but also became extremely nervous vs AA and if he lost that first game who knows. Best chance is to win at the net.

Wakaka. Her admin or taiwan friends will snoop around. ;) Naive for them not to get tips. Positive ones to their advantage. Weakness and strength. . ;)
