Does anyone know the current models that are equivalent to the Adipower Pro & the p800, I have 1 of each of these and looking for frames to use as spares.

    Cheers

I suggest that the Wucht P7/P8 would be a good replacement for the rackets you mentioned.

Had the Tour and pro... I probably edge towards the A3 and A5, rather than the P7 or P8. Either that or one of the less head heavy wucht.

Thanks Dave. I've also got a Cab21 special recently too, but again could not find a 2nd 1. I have picked up a few frames of late pretty cheap, so can't complain there, just not many or any chances to get spares.

I also got a P350 with the p800, but I plan to use this for air badminton, as I have a neighbour who I can hit with here for that, and will also use this for wall practice outside here at home.

Ah right, not as head heavy as the spec suggests for the P800/Pro then?

Had a bit of a search, not much in the way of Adidas available for Adidas racquets here ATM it seems, pretty much all sold out it appears.

Oh well. At least I have sum stuff to use once we get outta lockdown and can hit again. The local stadium has become a vacation centre for now.

The stock Protech stuff there, but I know even less about those racquets as they were not available here when I was last playing.

Basically, I'm starting to play again for fun and fitness after stopping over 10 years ago because work at that time didn't give me the option to play.

Anyone notice difference in A3 and A5 weight and balance between this year and previous:

    upload_2021-10-29_22-26-49.png upload_2021-10-29_22-26-56.png

A5 weight before was 83g and now 84g.

    upload_2021-10-29_22-27-9.png upload_2021-10-29_22-27-15.png

A3 BP before was 290-295 and now 285-290.

Yes. I noticed it before. I actually expect it to be more of a communication problem between development and marketing and the last changes getting lost somewhere or not getting to the right people in time. That also would be in line with the A3 I have, which is rated as slightly head light on the shaft, while being from 2019.

Yeah I concur. I've always had it in my head that the A3 was the stiffer less head heavier version of the A5, probably from the material I read at that time and that was back in 2019.

That is also in line with the measures I read from one store:
    A3 85g, BP 288mm, swing 84.5
    A5 83g, BP 292mm, swing 84.5

Yep, they have the same swing weight.

Oh damn! Might actually have to give the A5 another go if I get a heavier one, especially if the weight boost is all up top.

I currently have a F2.1 which seems to have same flex, pretty fast, only 81g but very head heavy so it doesn't feel too light.

Thanks to PDHsports for sending it to me to try, assuming I'm allowed to give then a shout out for customer service as there was a recent thread of good suppliers to use!

... Wondering if we will see some updates of high end adidas rackets or even new ones in 2022. Any rumors about that?

Itching to get a third A5 but I'm still not a fan of the shape of the cone/top-cap.
Also wouldn't reject another color way.;)

I believe Kalkul is the next range for a refresh but I'm not sure when.

Are Adidas rackets equal or better than the big brands? I can't even find their website on google.

for performance, i cant tell much as its different from person to person. Different person had different feel & preference.
The same with design, so wont talk much to it.

In term or paint quality, its great. My P8, use it to take shuttle in the floor, misshit few times, & chashing (1 time quite hard) but i found no chipped. Still good looking racket & durability good i guest as mine still survive.
