    Thanks for the info ants!

I'm guessing you tried Pball's test rackets.

    I tried them out too. I liked the 4U Ti500 and 3U Ti400 best. I wasn't able to try the 3U Ti500 though.

The one thing I noticed about La Fleche rackets is that they tend to vibrate a lot upon impact with the shuttle.

Racquets that have very stiff frame (kevlar) or a large frame (iso) tend to have more vibration, the former due to it's stiffness (very little to dampen anything) and the latter due to it's larger sweetspot from it's longer main strings. Heavy racquets have less vibrations than light racquets. Not hitting the shuttle well, like off-centre hits, produces more vibrations. Gripping the handle improperly, i.e. too tight will make you feel more vibrations.
You know the reason why most modern iso racquets have grommet stripes (bumpers) at the 8 middle grommets at the throat end. Yes, they are there to reduce vibrations. Holding the handle loose will also reduce vibrations, more so than having a thicker grip. Not hitting the shuttle off-centre will also reduce vibrations.

Someone stole my La Fleche racquet and my expensive water bottle when I was playing in a public badminton hall a week ago. My friend lost his also. How sad. :crying: Now I have to make do with my retired MP99, AT700 and AT800DE, until I come up with something new.

Sorry about that. However, I have a friend who is keen to trade in his LF Ti500 Class A with my new racquet toy. If you are interested I will then agree to the deal and then sell you his LF. It is a class A LF, slightly below the one that I lost, but still better than the average standard LFTi500. It is a used racquet but the condition looks ok and quite new. Pls pm me if you have any interest. If I don't hear from you, this 3-party deal is off.

I am trying out my new toy now. It is very low end in cost but it is good enough, for me, to retire my trio of AT700, AT800DE and MP99 for the time being. :D

How big is your water bottle? Do you carry a huge water container to clubs?

The one that I lost was a stainless steel vacuum bottle, Japanese made. It could store cold or hot drinks. It had a capacity of 1.25 litres, which I used to store my pocari sweat drink when playing in airconditioned courts, supplemented by tap water when I needed more fluid intake. On non-aircoditioned courts I used to use two plastic bottles totalling 3 litres of pocari sweat.
