LGZ's weakness is his forehand backcourt. And the pace set by AG was too fast for him.

Fajar/Rian.. Classic INA MD style, very entertaining to watch. Did anyone notice Fajar has improved his defence lately ?

LGZ has a one-dimensional game, alwasy waiting for his opponents to lift so that he can unleash his smashes.

Ginting is a very fast mover, the swiftest among the current crop of top players. LGZ got to neutralize his netplay, difficult, so at least keep hunting the net, that will minimise Ginting's net control and lift more. Also Ginting's aware of LGZ's tactic, so he's not going to lift or clear predictably to him but mixes it up with quick drop shots close to the net.

I hope LGZ learns a lot from this match, that's the way to improve on his game.

It won't be easy for sure to breakdown Chinese's wall. Rooting for Hendra Ahsan to lift the Thomas Cup. They deserve this before they are going to retired

Fajar/Rian take the lead 11-8 in the first-set that has no rallies at all! One two three shot and point won/lost.

Hope it's not a whitewash for Team CHN, it'll be thrilling to go all the way to 5 matchups. Certainly a tall order for CHN.

INA even breaks up their crack pair, Gideon/Kevin, who's not in top form just so to prevent any upsets. That's how confident they are of their chances.
