I am banking on that to see Ohori and Han Yue on court.

She is the worker and support the pair. Just like Jia who tend to take a bit more shots and naturally will have a bit more errors relatively.

Yeah everyone’s whining about mayu but she scored almost all the points, yuki was just solid. She also lost a lot of points but if she wasn’t so nervous at crucial points she could’ve been the mvp

Agree. HBJ hasn't been outstanding this tournament.

    so many possible outcomes still.

Not a lot of lefties at the top of the women's game. May be a factor in this match.

HBJ's wrist band, says something like "NO DOUBT, NO WEAKNESS".

HE Bing Jiao has more experience playing against higher-paced opponents than Sayaka TAKAHASHI.
She has a better chance of winning, unless Sayaka can play out of this world.

barring mental or physical breakdown on the part of HBJ, there is not contest between these 2 in terms of skill, speed, and consistency.

Yeah HE Bing Jiao’s pace is just too fast for Sayaka TAKAHASHI to keep up

You know what, in another world. Hirota was not injured.

    And Fuku/Hiro can win WD1

But then Mayu will play with Misaki (or Nagahara) as WD2, and lose ^-^.

So losing 1 point is INEVITABLE for Japan when choosing Mayu - Thanos said

A win in singles doesn't look likely for Japan. If only Okuhara was here, and was ranked lower than Yamaguchi...

The Chinese coach is right, HBJ is faster, so she don't have to be afraid
