20-10 CYF could have retired though tbh.

That comment by Steen is ROFL, "And Yamaguchi goes crazy with excitement".

Might be a bitter moment for Yamaguchi. Beats CYF in straight games in both the SC and UC and still loses both titles (because of Mayo).

Great match by Yamaguchi, very clinical. Chen Yufei look more fatigued than at the Sudirman Cup.. He Bingjiao should have been fielded more often instead of her

Yay, Akane wins!! Perhaps CYF overtrained before the Olympics to peak there and now is suffering from some after-effects?

She actually smiled a little bit with raised arms. That's the most I have seen her celebrating a victory :D She's lovely.

You're still belabouring the same points over and over again while ignoring what I'm trying to say nor really addressing them. Don't just argue for argument's sake.

If you peak at the event, you didn't overtrain before - you trained just right
But maybe she is experiencing a slight drop in form, yeah....and/or YA is now in peak form

She was great in Game 3... She would need to be great in game 1 to even threaten the Olympic Silver Medalists

So happy for Yamaguchi. She delivered again when it mattered. I was heartbreaking seeing her cry after her OG loss.

Mayu needs to do what she did yesterday to have a chance.

She can make or break this match. Not much yuki can do.

Your mentality and needless sarcasm at somebody who has nothing to do with SYQ's indiscretion is pathetic. And all those who agree with you.

The forehand save from AY at 5-5 really changed the momentum of the match. CYF looked lost from there, and it seems CYF also cannot read AY'shots, maybe the coaches just focused on TTY's game for the OLP?
