If that is the reason, then why he did not call any fault on Japan's side ?Apparently he is only targeting Chinese side

I think the tie is still very much winnable by both country.

Actually I expected Momota to lose that MS1, but I overestimated the capacity of Yuta to lift up Hoki: still I expected a 1-1 result at the end of the second match, so we're right on track

This was bound to happen. I know it because I was the Hoki of my club at some point. Because I was being targeted like crazy I was messing up the rhythm of my absolute beast of a partner.

CHN knew who was the goat in this pair and who was the underdog. Obvisouly they targeted the underdog.

P.S. my focus in singles not doubles
P.S. I upped my game and we won the MD trophy

Well LSF is a beast in my books. I just hope Kanta can go the extra mile and shine again. He needs to frolic even more than he usually does.

I wonder if they adjust the height of the chair they sit on from one to another. I would think it is needed be since a taller service judge would give a lower max height for service just because where his eye level is

Because then hoki would have been paired with Kobayashi, and they were both atrocious yesterday against Korea.. Literally playing everything into the net...

    Because their serves were correct..?

But I'm not saying this is how it was, it's just a theory.

    Couldn't agree more. I expected 1-1 too.
Yuta is human and he can only do so much in any partnership he's involved in. Everyone has to carry their weight at some point.
Having said that, Yuta himself was performing much lower than his usual standard.

How are they boring ? if anything it was the japanese who make it boring with their defensive gameplan

Idk why people act like yuta is just suddenly being passive, he's aways been like this...look at his match with endo. the only difference was endo defense was 10 times more solid than hoki

Because their serve was legal? Just because the judge is strict does not mean he is gonna fault players' serve he assesses to be legal.

You're right too. Both sides were equally boring in my opinion; CHN smashing only and JPN only defending. The Japanese gameplan was really weak and they over-estimated the potency of this scratch partnership. Hoki is seriously the female version of Higashino.
