    Hi all,
I am an intermediate singles player mostly attacking.
I play 5 days a week for 2 hours, so the string should be durable.

Strings I have tried and my review
*Yonex BG65 - Good string but tends to lose tension over time and not all that much power.
*Yonex BG65 TI - Good string overall but bit high pitched and also looses tension quickly.
*Yonex NBG95 - Nice but has a tighter feeling that I do not prefer.
*Yonex NBG99 (current) - Loving it good slices and pretty nice power. But is it durable?

Any recommendations? I would prefer the string to be thicker than 0.68mm and from yonex.

    Thanks :)

If you like NBG95, but not how tight it feels, why not string it a little lower?

I'm not sure there are any Yonex strings that are thicker than 0.68 except for the ones you've already named (and bg3).
If you are willing to jump brands there are the zymax 69 strings. There are other brands as well with good performing strings. No need to limit yourself to yonex.

but I also feel that the 99 has more repulsion and control than the 95
do u know how durable is the 99 compared to 95?

I don't know, I've never played with the 99, but the 95 feels a little too slippery for my taste. I mostly use bg80, admittedly not as durable.

Yeah, I think I will have to go for the 99 if it is at least close to being as durable as the 95, thanks 4 ur help :)

what about nbg98? nbg98 is my favorite out of those nbg strings. Also, maybe you can check aerobite boost. It might be something you may like.

NBG99 was a few years ago my go-to and a really nice string, but on the softer side. For me it performs fresh best like any YY string does. It tended to feel slightly mushy after a few weeks like any other string does more or less. On your schedule you should go through a few tubes of shuttles per month, so costwise a monthly stringing job won't break the bank. 40 hours of a stringing job is alot of play. Not only the string gauge also tension, slicing and mishits are factors which limit the durability. I also played BG80P after the NBG99 and BG80. FME they are all damn close in terms of durabilty and I would prefer them on lower tension than playing BG65 or ZM69 at 3lbs more.
