3U kalkul? If I saw an A5 at 86 /38 I'd snap it up, even with having a P8 now.

There may be another P8 for sale in the UK...

After mild rallies or few hits with the kids, I gave the P09.1 a proper go tonight. WOW. The flex is perfect. Light enough to be fast but packs a punch. Punches above its weight for power, and is ridiculously fast for a medium stiff box frame. I can't get my head round it, or how such a cheap racquet is so nice. Absolute genius design.

I have two, 24lb and 30lb (yeah I know) and its equally nice with both setups, which is usually a sign that a racquet suits me well.

The P09.1 is another bargain, the Spielers are far better than any other rackets I have used in that price range.

I finally got the P8 Tokyo back from the stringer last night and used it for around an hour.

The racket looks great, nicer than the 3 other versions I have had in my opinion.
I will take some pics and strung weight later today.

The spec for the P8 Tokyo matches the other versions of the P8 available in UK, there are lots of reviews on here so I won't go into too much detail but here we're my initial thoughts.

The 4u isn't much lighter than the 3u but felt far easier to use than the 3u versions I have used previously.

There is no doubt this is a powerhouse racket, it is one of the most stable rackets I have ever used, it goes exactly where you want it without any lag or unwanted twisting of the head.

I have been a fast frame Victor guy for a very long time, the P8 isnt as fast in defence as a bravesword or jetspeed but is as fast as the majority of frames on the market.

The power potential is unreal, when I got my timing correct, the smashes worked really well.
    Drives and lifts were effortless.

The Wucht P8 still reminds me very much of the Victor Thruster range, especially the TK9900.

For anyone that hasn't tried the P8 yet then I suggest you try it, if in doubt try a 4u.

Here are a few pics of the P8 Tokyo, paired with the P68 red string.

Tried searching for P09.1 and couldn't find any. If you managed to get these for the sale price, then wow you had yourself a bargain. Even at normal prices it's pretty amazing.

They are typically £30 - £40 depending on where and when you buy them. Great value

Directbadminton have their last pages listed via Google searching. Also annoying shows everything as in stock for a lot of rackets that are not. So it was on sale for £25 ish... Amazing value!

let me add abit of fuel to lit up the fire:p

Im basically 3U HH racket lovers. Double, Back court player, aggresive & offensive play style(initially before this insane pademic going wild). My main racket are TK770 (99gr, 304BP with my regular setup).
When i 1st try P8, the repulsion it give are crazy tho it just 4U. I throw out the shuttle few times. Maybe if i got my hand the 3U version, the shuttle will be gone passing through the wall:p. In term of speed, it definitely faster than my TK770 but not to speedy like AVP that would ruin your timing. Switching between TK770 & P8 kinda efforthless. For control itself, its very obedient thanks to stiff shaft, faster manouver but not excesively fast, & just abit HH yet pretty repulsive frame so it wont sacrifice power.
My only issue initially are when i do slice kind shot. I miss time alot but its getting better now the more i use it.
So P8 definitely worth trying for you who had good technique. Its a beast but only answer your call if it deem you worthy to wield its power.:D

Is this the 5U cyan? or the 4U grey one? I've got a third on the way. Played so well with it that it would be illogical to change.

There is no difference in the versions other than colour, some specs online seem to be incorrect from what I have seen.
All the ones I have had were 4u (84g on shaft)

Could anyone guess the dry weight of my P7 based on the wet weight of 92.6g. Removed plastic wrapping on handle, minimal overlapping overgrip (LN GP1000) upto the cone and strung with Aerosonics.
My guess is around 6 to 7g extras, which makes it around 85 to 87g sort of range. Seems like my 4U P7 is probably a 3U?

And yes I really should start weighing my rackets before I string them.

badminton-point seems to be getting some stock by the end of september again: https://www.badminton-point.de/badm.../adidas-badmintonschl-ger-p09-1-besaitet.html

If it is just remotely as good as you guys say it is, then it's a steal.

Couldn't help it and ordered a P09.1 along with some shuttles. They have confirmed the shipping date for 06 October, so let's see if they will make it. Really curious to see what a 40 EUR racket with a proper string job can do these days. :)
