Can't find anything online about this, although it makes sense judging how they define the rest of their line up.

Managed to find G-tone 58 on Gosen website...

Damn I just figured out what the misprice was... I'm just going to assume they were never going to ship to UK and be happy with that.

Some sets on offer on ebay right now for under £4 a pop. I've ordered a few as I did a 30lb combo of that and nbg98 for a customer and it feels kinda nice.

Yeah it's a good price. Was a bit cheaper before as well. Think the reels are actually 220m from other listings of GT5 reels.

I got them from badminton-point, but they've increased prices since. I guess they want to make up for the losses. In Europe, it's not that easy to get your hands on Gosen strings. Stringersworld has them, and now badminton-point, other than that....? You can always import from Asia, there should be more choices.

We have a seller in Sweden that has decent prices, 895 SEK for 220m (87,76€), don't know if they ship internationally, but free shipping within Sweden at 1000 sek, so I can proxyship for you in EU. http://www.trumpbadminton.se/index.php?sida=senor (Site in Swedish)

How much does GT5 fray before it pops? It's been years since I've kept a string job, or racquet for that matter, long enough to fray.

A lot. Often, you can see the inner core and it still takes a while before it snaps. It has lost all its feeling by then, but it's still on the racket if that counts for durability. Yeah, I've played it that long, because a I'm lazy and there were no competitions.

The moment the nicking starts, the crispness and pop of the stringbed gone. This can be delayed by doing a hybrid with ZM62Fire crosses which doesn't nick as easily.

It's a main that has signs of fraying. I definitely took your influence on the GT5 hybrid, but with nbg98. Very nice. I'm not a fan of ZM62F anymore though. LN1 more powerful for me. I recently tried pure 62F and control was nice, but it was a bit bland, hybrid had more control and power.

I strung up a spare with BG80 mains to compare, I think I'll probably stick to GT5.

Spoke to the official distributor few days ago and he mentioned that G-tone 58 would be launching in Jan 2022.

This is correct. I'm hopeful after the limited test batch sale they had.

The durability overall has always been miles.ahead to me than others.

Still no sign of G-Tone 58...looks like more test batch sales are needed before launching
