Kevin Cordon in the semis? What the hell?!

I guess after Heo's high of beating Momota, he's come crumbling down to the lowest possible - losing to Cordon of all players.

It would be a travesty (already is in the fact that he's got at least a shot at the bronze medal, minimum) if he gets to the final and actually wins. I think I'd stop watching MS altogether if that happened (never thought I'd say that).

It would be a Ji Xinpeng win.

give the guy a break. He’s been in a life threatening accident, needed an operation for his eyesight and Covid positive.

You don’t know if he’s had post traumatic stress disorder or long Covid. Neither do I but I would give the guy some sympathy rather than slating him off.

Simone Biles gets understanding for withdrawing from competition. So should players who weren’t able to perform “as expected” from amateurs and juniors up to and including professionals.

Expect the unexpected. Like the first time a Spanish lady winning the world championships against a Chinese player.

Grats to the Indonesian ladies :). Rarely we have seen the ladies venture deeper in a tournament than the men.

Love for the Indonesian pair, hard fought and very well played , but in all honesty if China progresses to the Finals ,Indonesia shall find them very difficult to beat.

All eyes on the other Korean pair now whom Indonesia may find a relatively easier opponents to beat.

Although it's not as surprising as Momota exit, or Kevin Cordon making it into semifinal, WD really give us surprises. If you tell me one month ago that No Japanese player on the semis and Greysia/Apriani are on final, I'd say that you're out of your mind.
