Srikanth didn't qualify as the second MS from India. He blamed the cancellation of tournaments for it, but given his form, it seemed hard for him to qualify.

Kinda nice to see some tough games on XD. Although by the look of it, looks like Zheng/Huang will have bigger chance to win this competition.

Excited to see tomorow's match, especially MS field.

The players are usually required to wear the equipment provided by the national team sponsors when representing their country, so Yonex for Taiwan in Olympics and Sudirman Cup, etc. This would extend to clothing, bags and accessories, it shouldn't apply to shoes or racquets but there was an incident at the 2016 Olympics with TTY and her Victor shoes.

Exactly, that is why the Minions and Ahsan/Setiawan f.e. are wearing Li-Ning jerseys, same with Lin Dan at the last Olympics despite all of them being not sponsored by LN.

Can't find sod-all on the supposed banquet of sports that is the BBC...

It's the frigging Olympics, and I live in the UK - I shouldn't have to watch pilfered Youtube rips!

    Nice, ty.

Anywhere to potentially see how the Chinese team are doing with highlights, since we haven't seen them in like a year

If you look at talented players he is a rare one, I feel it will take a long time to find someone like him, but one has to on the talents to win big.

Can't be happier for GreysApri though

I wouldnt say getting silver is choked though, did they get AsianGames gold? Imagine GreysiaAp getting PiekSeinen in QF, one can only dream. thats almost an auto medal for whoever getting the Dutch Pair imo.

So Mix Double will have breaks on 27th. Mens Double will have 1day break on 28th and that is it. Women's Double have breaks on 28th 30th and 1st which is the most relaxed of all. Therefore, it has break after every progression. I wonder that will help FukushimaHirota or her injury is just too serious and they are just playing for Medal (if they can get past the Malaysia Pair).

I can Imagine Yuta playing Final XD on 30th and MensDouble on 30th Night. That will be tough.

I also wonder if BWF will Introduce like Olympic having different Finals day, say saturday and sunday in the future.

that's the point, 3 times silver was the choke (in the Final)
they got bronze in Asian Games

I can only pray that that really happens, GreysApri vs SelenaCheril
Even though most probably they will still lost on the bronze play-off match

Yeah, imo its gutting if FukushimaHirota cant medal in their own Olympic. It will always be nice to win something at home. Although i had Lee/Shin, KimKong and DuLi winning WD ( they offered great values). I guess i'm missing ChenJia but i can only have 3 and if it ended up GreysAp winning medal or gold, i guess i dont mind losing some money wkwk.
