I would think they would be available in Europe before North America. Yonex Canada has stock now, so I would think it should be the case worldwide
cant wait for the reviews hehe. some ppl complain about the instability of the previous model. hopefully yonex addressed it this time.
Been wearing these since late May - are people still waiting on a review on these? Am guaging interest if it's worth recording a video and such.
There are 2 models apparently. X is slightly cheaper than the premium Z. I have now used the Z for about 10 sessions. Shoe is true to size, comfortable to wear and grippy. The upper material seems durable and strong. I've had issues with few previous shoes where I've ended up with a hole on right side as I tend to drag my foot. So far, no sign of wear on that spot. I will continue to monitor. Sock sleeve grips the ankle well. Remains to be seen if it retains its shape in time. The only gripe I have is that the nylon tabs at the back of the shoe rubs against the ankle if you are wearing low cut socks. I ended up cutting the 2 tabs and switching to a mid cut sock. Definite improvement over previous models.
Thanks so much for the review. 2 tabs means the ear at the back of the shoe? Did u try wearing mid to hi cut socks 1st b4 cutting those
Yes, I guess you can call them ears lol...I didn't try the mid cut before cutting. But if you switch to mid cut, you should be fine
Cushioning seems fine on both ends. Having said that, I've always used custom orthotics in all my badminton shoes. Prior to the Z's I had been cycling between Victor SH P9100and Yonex SHB 02 Ltd.
What about the grip? With the new sole, Is it on par wt your p9100? Iv heard ppl saying that victor shoes are grippier than yonex
Hey guys. here is my review of the eclipsion z's, please give feedback if you can so I can make better reviews in the future!
I'd say script it first and make concise as possible rather than talking off the cuff. These days attention spans are getting shorter and shorter, which gives rise to tiktok and youtube shorts, so be concise, concise, concise. A teleprompter does wonders for that. Put more b rolls. When you refer to the Aerus or 65Z2, for the people who don't know what they look like, they could use b rolls of it if you have any of the shows with you. If not you can "borrow" other people's footage or show a close up of Kento Momota or Victor Axelsen playing in them while you are talking about it. That takes pressure off you while simultaneously giving other footage to your audience. Remember, attention span is short these days, so the more "distractions" or other types of footage, background changes, different camera angles you use, the more engaging it is.
yeah thank you for this feedback! Will keep that in mind for the next review, which I think imma do on the exbolt 63
Hi @precrime3, How about the wide version. Does it have a big difference in width in the forefoot when you try it on? Compared to the black one
