1. How often do you play, how serious are you? Play 3-4 times a week, recreational mid intermediate player. 2. What style of player are you? Level doubles exclusively. Mainly long rallies; attacking/defensive clears, drops, placement, baiting opponents smash. Just try to play solid & clean badminton, outworking and out tiring the opponent. Some have said this style is rather "boring". 4. How much money do you want to spend? Preferably cheap and can take 30 lbs+ tension, but if there's a racket that's worth it at the high price then I don't mind.
You miss number 3 & 5, mention your racket history & tell what you feel good & lack for each of it. If you had a bunch of racket, last 3-5 racket would be ok.
For the past year and a half I've been using Nanoflare 170. It's fine I guess, maybe lacking a bit of power on some baseline to baseline clear and smashing situation. Racket broke during play though when I strung it to its maximum 26 lbs.
Spec wise NF170 are flex balance to head light racket. If you look for cheap & able to take high tension, for Yonex maybe Astrox DG series. Those range are capable of 34lbs, less demanding on your wallet, & (if im correct) the number refer to flex & head heaviness. Also as you struggle in power, those are head heavy range & 4U so it would help in term of power. But if looking for other brand, i may suggest to look at Adidas range. @Dave1011 , @speCulatius might be able to suggest some model.
The Adidas Spieler P09.1 or E08.2 can take 30lbs and are cheap. The Kalkul A2, A3 and A5 can also take 30lbs, they may be more expensive.
