My Fitbit charge2 doesn’t have a sport category as Badminton to track activity. Any tricks to do the same on Fitbit charge 2 or any other recommendation for another smart watch for activity tracking for badminton?

Ultimately I want to know in my typical one badminton session (an hour of 4 double games) how many calories I burned, how many miles I ran etc etc.

look forward to hearing from legends

Use an equivalent setting like martial arts.

The only sports category it has is Running. Do you think running mode can be good representative for Badminton?

Additionally, do you have any other watch(s) in mind ?

Are you sure? Aren’t there other modes such as interval workout?

I figured out , on my watch I have both modes ‘tennis’ and ‘interval workout’ . I guess Tennis might be more suited to track activities for Badminton games . What do you suggest?

If you let it auto track your badminton it either tracks as "sport" or " aerobic workout", which I would say is sufficient - all of the different sport types just change some numbers in their calculations so don't rely on your fitbit for super accurate data, just a ballpark figure.
