What will happen if IOC and Japan hold Olympic at July and tournaments which count for "Race to Tokyo" keep postponing ?

Then how can BWF choose qualified players

I wonder how these points are added after every tournament. Don’t they add all the ranking points gained in a particular qualification tournament?

Basically both world ranking calculation (BWF WR & Race of Tokyo) have same formula, taken from 10 best tournaments in last 12 month (52 week) BUT there's special case regarding current circumstances, global pandemic as BWF will not remove 2019 world ranking to respond lack of international tournaments last year and first half of this year.

    https://corporate.bwfbadminton.com/news-single/2020/12/21/tournament-calendar-2021/
    Re-Opening BWF World Rankings

The BWF World Rankings will reopen following the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2020 being hosted in Week 4 2021. The calculation of the next BWF World Rankings list will be announced on Tuesday 2 February 2021, based on the following principles:
    • Tournaments already included in the BWF World Rankings list as of 17 March 2020 will remain.
    • Tournaments counting for the BWF World Rankings hosted after 17 March 2020 will be added to the BWF World Rankings list being calculated for 2 February 2021.
    • Tournaments sanctioned as world ranking tournaments going forward after 2 February 2021 will be added weekly.
    • No tournaments already included in the BWF World Rankings from 17 March 2020 will be dropped off the rankings until a date to be announced. The BWF World Rankings will be in a transition period and will consist of tournaments from more than 52 weeks. The exact drop-off methodology to reestablish a 52-week World Rankings list is still to be determined and will be announced in due course, but with advance notification.
    For example ~ Kento Momota

    BWF World Ranking : #1 (109,118)
    upload_2021-3-16_13-58-41.png

    Race of Tokyo Ranking : #1 (105,968)
    upload_2021-3-16_13-58-4.png

After Yonex All England 2021 Race of Tokyo ranking will not change because YAE last year edition has been calculated.

So next week will be very interesting. The Orleans Masters 2021 is only a BWF Super 100 Tournament , but it counts for the Race to Tokyo.
For this reason it is well staffed for a tournament of this category.
It seems that we can watch all the games of this tournament live. According to that link https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE-Y2Ueg1p2gPQJO3T9MlTrkgu3JUe4c4 French Badminton streamed the games at youtube. The five finals can be seen here:
https://cnosf.franceolympique.com/cnosf/ or https://www.sportenfrance.com Maybe a VPN is necessary for the finals, I don't know.

Normally there is a broadcasting of the finals with several cameras and french commentary , I believe that the streaming of the other games will be only with one position of the camera.

Yes , but there are the first players withdrawn due to covid. https://www.badminton.de/news/badminton/orleans-masters-deutsche-spieler-ausgeschlossen/
Due to a Covid-19 case in the French team, the German doubles players must be excluded from the Orleans Masters 2021 (from Tuesday).

The doubles and mixed players Isabel Herttrich, Mark Lamsfuß, Patrick Scheiel, Marvin Seidel and Franziska Volkmann are not allowed to participate in the Super 100 tournament in France because of a positive Corona test in the French team. The French Badminton Association (FFBAD) announced this in a statement on Sunday. In addition, numerous players from the Netherlands and the host nation France were excluded from the tournament.

A French international had tested positive for the corona virus in the run-up to the tournament. The DBV athletes were together with the Dutch for two days to prepare for Orleans at the French training center INSEP in Paris. Due to the hygiene and follow-up concept, all double players in the preparatory course must be excluded from the tournament, as they have been defined as direct contact persons. The individual players and the supervisors are excluded from this.

Goh Jin Wei is back, and to this day I still don't know how she can casually smash when the shuttle is behind her head.

We have to wait and see whether they want to continue as per plan or not.

The IS winner will earn 2,500 only, yeah nothing significant to change RTT position.

Is there a guarantee the Olympics will still happen? I guess it will but it's like everything since 14 months : uncertain.
