based on weight its 3U but who knows as there is a chance its higher 4U or lower 3U. so Kevins Sword still the same, just very little bit more power yet maintain his godly speed. But funny that Gideon Sword would be less powerfull. Lately his smashing are not quite treatening especially agains the duo Japan. He need more BANG on his smash for sure... But well maybe he would goes to the path of deception & trickshot. Been quite long time didnt see minions playing. I wonder what kind of play they will show this time with both new sword.
That is at least what numbers speak for. However, even these numbers go down, the number of Yonex income will still increase
trying to find any information about the stiffness of pro, tour and game. do you guys have any information? unless I missed out
based on paper spec, it just the cone. Pro seems to use AX100 cone but tour might be just use a regular standard cone. Both frame & shaft material are the same.
88d pro grommet hole inside like zf2 frame design. and 88s pro comes with 72 grommet for front player. and both will comes with a bit less stiff than the old one. this already a good cyclical evolve like they advertise. and when kevin markus and others pro shines at all england 2021 with 88 pro. BOOOOM.... whislist.
Haha... This is not like car where they put 30 or 50 more horsepower that you can feel the different. I get what the resin. I think basically you use reinforcement in some area, therrfore making the frame thinner, but thicker in the other direction to allow for bigger grommet. Eager to get my hand on one
Actually, very easy to see.. This All England is 17 March, which coincede with the Yonex Launching Date. Plus the chinese player will be using Yonex as well. IF suddenly Gideon and Kevin performance drops significantly, then... hehe may be the racket not good ? OR may they need time to adjust to new rackets.. hahaha... If suddenly Kevin smashes like Praveen Jordan, then.. hehehe.. can get 88S
How is all this relevant to the sweet spot? It is irrelevant, or at least one in many cases. If they play better, maybe they had one year long of hard training. If they play worse, maybe they have been off court for too long. For example, look at Praveen Hulk Jordan in Thailand, if he was given a better racket, would his performance be better?
Pretty sure that the Minions already get the new one already & training with it. But most likely they had repaint version of the old color so no one notice it.

Can you or someone explain how grommet patterns make rackets play differently between 76 and 72? Specifically "72 grommet for front player"? As a stringer, I just think 72-grommet pattern is a pain in the ass to string. It also creates excessive twisting on grippier strings, and needs to be obsolete.
this just my personal experiences and observes many lining low end or some high racket racket, i cant explain in scientific way. i feel.... 72 grommet sweet spot more oval shape and accept higher area. 76 grommet toward to the center and wider 72 grommet lining aeronauts 7000i 9000i ... use by XD or MD. victor TK F claw .... use by WD HH medium/flex it will help short (women) or some player with habbit/tends to hit the shuttlecock at the highest stringbed area. i also heard the 72 is more difficult to string work than 76. thats why they called cyclical evolve in advertise.... peace.
