I kind of find Lauren Smith to be a lot more annoying.

    Why on earth
    1. Gemke vs Verma, and
    2. Leverdez vs Chou TC
were not scheduled to court 1 or 2?

Who is responsible for this task, does anyone know?

Confidence can do crazy things, Sameer bests Gemke 21-12, 21-9.

Despite the fact that he's had such a hard match the previous round and Gemke had a free ride.

I was anxious when they gave up 4 match points so easily but Supissara really kept composure to secure the winners at the end! Ellis and Smith choked under the pressure- really entertaining to watch though especially after game 3 interval, the pace and quality of rallies just jumped.

Gemke's overrated IMO, he hasn't had many notable victories. Sameer played well against LZJ so must have been fired up from it.

I was anxious coz i bought 10$ at 4.5 for thai pair to upset. Thought they blew it.

Other than Gicquel/Delrue, i think Alimov/Davletova is upcoming young XD pair as well.

GohTan, AaronSoh & GohIzzudin in the same quarter draw for 2 straight tournaments. Its a bummer but at least 1 pair will go to SF.

I should admire ASY's ability to play so steady, with consistently excellent length and so on. But she's just sooo exasperating to watch. She's like a robot who plays only to win and doesn't ever care to entertain either the audience or herself. Gosh.

speak to your boss if you do not know who bwf's world feed video production director is. or bat's tournament director will know.

it's ridiculous we get 3-4 replay angles of every single point.
so is zooming in on the server only about half of the time. who is receiving? where are they standing? did the receiver fault? are they anticipating a flick?

the video director isn't showing much experience with badminton.

Nishimoto should learn from Sameer. I think that Nishimoto have a big problem when facing with very tall players.

please summarize game 3. i didn't get a chance to watch it live...

the score graph looks like a typical second half of game 3 for ginting. yikes... was it all ginting errors?

too many errors esp from back hand, and weak back hand giving opportunity, too much impatient play.
