What is the best way to go to MSAC from the city?

    .
Question: What is the best way to go to MSAC (Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre) from the city via public transport?

Answer: Tram No.96 is the best.

In the city, you will find Tram No.96 travelling along Bourke Street and then along the southern section of Spencer Street, going to St. Kilda Beach.

Get down at Stop No.129 (Wright Street), at the carpark of MSAC, .

    Click on the link below for the Tram No.96 Route Map;

    http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/maps-stations-stops/metropolitan-trams/tram/1041

When you arrive at MSAC, go to the reception counter and the staff will direct you to the Badminton hall.

Many changes have occurred at CCC over the years

    .
Please be informed that if you elect to unsubscribe from any of our individual CCC threads and then now return to read, then you should read up to our last posts.

We have long-time CCCers returning at BadmintonCentral and assuming/expecting that CCC is still the same (fee/membership/venue). This is not the case; Many changes have occurred at CCC over the years.

Is there a spare racket that I could use during the session?

    .
Question: I don't have a racket, is there a spare racket that I could use during the session?

Answer: CCC Badminton Club can lend you one; or you can hire one from MSAC yourself.

Will CCC Badminton be having a break over the Xmas & New Year holiday season?

    .
Question: Will CCC Badminton be having a break over the Xmas & New Year holiday season?

Answer: Our CCC Badminton sessions will continue to play. Why have a break when we enjoy playing?

But read our threads - There are times when our venues are not available for us.

CCC Social Challenge Matches on Wednesday night@MSAC

    .
Question: Please explain how the CCC Social Session is run @MSAC on Wednesday night.

Answer: Currently (in Year 2012), we are having "Challenge Matches" at our Wednesday night's Social Session.

Below, we shall state the Schedule for our "Challenge Matches".

    ================================================

    1. Terms used:

1.1 Qualification Match = Your first match.

1.2 Challenge Matches = Your later matches.

    2. Schedule of Matches:

2.1 Before starting, first find a partner. For players looking for partners, please don't be shy to ask at our Wednesday night thread, or ask players attending our session.

2.2 If no partner is found, then see chris-ccc.

2.3 With set number of participants (limited to 16), we should have a quick turn-over of matches. Therefore, warm-up hits are only permitted for Qualification Matches; There shall be no warm-up for Challenge Matches.

2.4 After your Qualification Matches, there should be winners and losers awaiting to play in the next scheduled match (the Challenge Match). As scheduled and as called to appear on court, the 4 players may exchange partners if they wish.

2.5 The shuttlecock being placed under the net in the middle of the court is for the next scheduled match.

2.6 Court No.10 is used for losers' Challenge Matches.

2.7 Court No.11 is used for winners' Challenge Matches.

2.8 After your match, please remember to place a shuttlecock under the net in the middle of the court for the next scheduled match.

We welcome other suggestions to help make our CCC Social Challenge Matches more exciting and more efficiently run.

How does CCC Badminton Club conduct its sessions?

    .
I have been asked this question so often.

Question: How does CCC Badminton conduct its sessions (Wednesday Social Games and Sunday CATS - Coaching And Training Session)?

Answer: Interested players and trainees are welcomed to attend our sessions as observers. What is observed is what we do. It would save me lots of explaining posts. :):):)
