I already have seen players sometimes position themselves such that their racket foot is slightly behind the non-racket foot. However today I also saw Endo/Watanabe's feet move in place just a bit exactly when the shuttle was struck in a smash. Just want to confirm if that is the split step and that is the secret that gets them to pick deceptive slow drops close to the net so easily
