    Hi,
Try kizuna D61 ,it is a thumbs up for me.
Its been more than a month, still going alright. Much better durability compared to 66um .
Great sound and repulsion. I have been using it on my goto racquets.

Do you like soft med feeling or hard? You seem to enjoy 66um briefly before it lost tension and didn't like abbt so I'm assuming you like soft med feel.

I've been loving GT5 but it's a hard feel. I'd recommend you Yonex Aerobite (not boost). I have it on my 88D and has what you're looking for, crisp sound, good repulsion, and tension retention.

Yes, Aerobyte is a good option, but i do not want to go for these anymore as they cost me a arm and leg everytime i purchase them in india.
Yes i did very much liked the ping on BG66 ultimax for 1st and 2nd day.
I am hearing good reviews about GT5 and my friends told me its better than R4X110. i will try this next week as well and see.

In india, Gosen/Ashaway cost way lesser than yonex and if i am able to find a similar performing string in these brands it will be very cost effective for me :).

    Many thanks.

non GT-5 is slightly off topic, but perhaps Zymax 62/66 Fire or 64TX can suit you as well, soft to medium feel.

Depends on what characteristics you like of the string. Rx110 is harder, rougher and has has more feedback still. GT5 is much more repulsive however. We run these in the group now and amongst coaches as it's quite cheap by the packet in India as you rightfully said.

How does the string perform past 27lb, which is the limit stated on the pack?

Good. Probably one of the most robust strings I've ever used. Took it to 35 a decent amount of times.

It's bizarre tho, like you can feel it's well past its peak performance zone. 28 seems to be the peak from what I noticed and then it starts to drop. 31-32 it's still pretty good.

It never feels like it'll break but the qualities seem severely diminished after a certain point >32

I'd stay at 29 to 30 if I were you.

Just finished my 3rd session with it (probly around 6 games each), strung at 28 29lbs, it's been pretty good.

First 2 sessions tension held pretty well and just noticed a slight drop today. Nothing marginal, still think very highly of it so far.

I'm surprised you still could find a place to play in Jakarta. Where do you play?

I'm surprisingly getting a lot of string movement after a couple of weeks. Tension is at around 24 now but have to fix the string almost after every rally. Aerosonic at the same tension barely have any string movement.

Aerosonic moves, too, it just moved back in place due to the smoother surface. Nothing to worry about, just cosmetics, unless it creeps in your head... but it shouldn't.

Just use higher tension like 26-27 lbs and it will stick better at the intersections.

    i switch vbs66n and no1 recently.
    both feel complement each others.

how bout comparation gt5 vs no1.
    feeling, repulsion, control?

is it worthy to look for gosen string, since it is not so popular in here.

I switched from GT5 to LN1. I felt LN1 gave me that little bit extra power, interestingly my wife actually preferred GT5 over LN1 because of power too.

GT5 is definitely rougher than LN1, so if you love to slice or not the cleanest of hitters than give GT5 a go. They're both good strings that are worth trying.

Note I've eventually switched to Aerosonics.

I've been using Aerosonic on my Nanoflare 700 and 800ltd from few months. String is extremely lively but durability is poor. The top coating starts to come off after few sessions, lasts maybe 12-15 sessions. That is if I don't mishit:)

I guess I should've added (and this applies to any thin strings or any strings with high tension), that I would only switched to Aerosonics if you have easy access to a stringer and don't mind the increased costs of more frequent string jobs.

Fortunately I string my own rackets.

Indeed..Fortunately, I string my own a well, so yes can opt for thinner strings. Albeit, Victor VBS 63 is supposed to be a thin string but it really doesn't feel like it.
I just got my reel of Gosen G Tone 5.. Will try it out sometime next week once the lockdown is lifted.

Oops? Some leftover orange.... and an error with some prices in an online shop. Let's say I was surprised they shipped.... and even more so the second time with an additional 15% discount. Any guesses on what I paid for 880m of one of my favorite strings? @s_mair you don't count, but I hope you'll enjoy your two reels as well.
