The Fittest Athlete title goes to (I didn't get his name, tell you later) based on the first two days physical fitness test competition.

Understandably , the prize money has shrunk considerably (by at least 50% if I'm not wrong), the Champion, Qingdao, gets RMB 1 million, the Runner-up, Ruichang, RMB 500K, and the 3rd place finisher, Xiamen, RMB 250K. How they are distributed among the team members, coaches included, I'm not sure, but I remember the Champion Team in previous editions was rewarded with RMB 2 million.

He Bingjiao slips to WS3? Does it mean the CBA does not deem the new slim and mean HBJ as stable enough? In the game she look pretty sharp though the usual silliness still haunting her. On the contrary GFJ doesn't do enough for me to warrant her place as the WS2.

We don't understand what's the real meaning of CBA weird decision to field He BJ as WS3:rolleyes: Uber Cup line-up arrangement based on world ranking order.

Weng Hongyang has been my favourite junior since I saw him. He has improved and has more confidence. He has a good attacking game and a good defence as well. He has great footwork and anticipation. Love his unpredictable style. Lei Lanxi has a similar game but hasnt the confidence. Both are tricky players. SFX and LSF are straightforward players and will face problems with an unpredictable opponent. I am not a great fan of either, sorry but thats my humble opinion.

Seems like Chinese badminton is in a historically weak period right now. Not much depth right now.

Where is Zhang Nan?? Did he retire?

Not yet, just slow down his career...

A downward cycle for China badminton (reminiscent of 1990's era), I'm not surprised if they only nailed one gold in Tokyo 2020 from we know which category they're capable.

Obviously mixed doubles is their trump card to save their "face" in most tournaments but looking at what happened in All England this year...

Well, CHN National Championships will be splitted by two categories :
    • Team Event (28th October-2nd November)
    • Individual Event (3rd-10th November)
Almost all CBA National team players participate this annual domestic championships, except Shi Yuqi, He Bingjiao, Li Yinhui, Lu Guangzu, Zhang Nan, etc.
