How is the best way to start stringing MAINS with flying clamps?

    Hi guys, im on a crank machine with 3 flying clamps, can you please teach me how you guys start stringing your mains from the center?

    Found couple of youtube clips how to do it but wanted to know how you guys did it

    I have fixed clamps, but once I came across this video that had a very cool trick to start without fixed clamps.


    Give it a try.

    Hmm, neat trick, i can see that working, not to mention that key chain thingy will sit perfectly on the grommet, not the frame.. Thanks mate

    If I were to use flying clamps, I might try clamping R1 on the outside and pull L1 then clamp R1 and L1. Then pull L2 then clamp L1 and L2. Then pull R1 and clamp on the inside. Then R2 and then clamp R1 and R2. Then go on... my guess if I would try.

    But on crank machine you cant clamp from the outside R1 L1 because of the racket holder on the machine (its kinda huge and in the way). But maybe i didnt fully understand what youre trying to tell me. Youd be doing me a huge favour if you can post a video for me
