hello Guys, I'm new to this forum and seeking your expertise. I'm kinda confuse of the "V" placement of 'Badminton Family' vs 'Badminton Bible' shake hand grip when performing clear, smash and drop. they are somewhat different Let the racket string facing right and left and I'm a righty. In Badminton Family the "V" is somewhat towards the backhand side, whereas in Badminton bible the "V" is in line with the racket frame. kindly enlighten me on this part? your help is highly appreciated.
If you check the comments on the Badminton Famly video you'll see someone already asked this: ...and here's Thomas' reply: (he means "angle", not "ankle" ) What you have to remember is that all grips need to be adapted from their 'basic' position depending on where the shuttle is e.g. in front or behind, what shot you want to play and, to some extent, your own biomechanics. The adaptations are often tiny, the difference between Badminton Famly's basic grip and other videos is very, very small. The basic positions are demonstrated to correct/avoid most major faults, particularly in beginners.
