No link for court 3 and 4.
Yep. It seems like after defeating Satwik/Chirag in a hard fought match yesterday, one of them got injured. That's why they gave walkover to Chinese.

Chirag Shetty got panic f*cked and made way too many mistakes. The Chinese young pair is way too good.

Chinese pairs are always good no matter they're seeded or not. They shouldn't be taken lightly. When I first saw the draw, I knew it would be a tough first round match but gave 70-30 in favour of SatwikChirag. They're gonna lose many points. They were finalists last year losing to Fajar/Rian.

The reason I don't like to hype/get excited by wins of my Indian players when they do good is I know they'll fall sooner than later. This has been inserted in my mind after watching so much of results from Indian sportspersons. It's in our conscience. If I (majority of Indians) am doing well, I'll be satisfied with it and think I'm happy , no need to push further. We tend to slack off which is not the case with Japanese, Chinese (I know I'm going off topic) but this is important, this psychology thing. They'll grind means they'll do everything for their nation and to better themselves, self discipline is the term. See what they do for their economy etc. I know we are second fastest growing economy but majority of our population is not happy or settled in life. You see what I'm trying to say.

I knew back in FCO, FO that SatwikChirag need to buckle up and keep this momentum (which is very tough because of the points I mentioned in above paragraph). I was happy with their progress but knew this is not the time to expect them to beat everybody. And I in fact stated SatwikChirag are not contenders for Olympics 2020 but has a slight outside chance for a medal provided draw is favourable and they are on song . 2 great tournaments won't make anyone a title contender for upcoming tournaments. You need to show resilience, consistency for that. And I know what some other fans will say now about SatwikChirag. They'll say see the Indian pair is over rated, lost to rookie pair blah blah blah.

This post is not because they lost in first round of Super 300. Maybe 10 percent of today's loss accounts for this post. But 90 percent reason is it's been happening since ages. The thing needs to be told. Why are we still happy with 3-4 medals in Olympics till now inspite of being 1.3 billion strength nation ? Some of my Indian will go gaga over this. But no problem, shoot.

    Very True.

People want want their kids to get settled in life, they insert such thought procedure since young age. In our country getting into IIT, settling in US or becoming an IAS are kind of achievements in the their pursuit of getting setting in life. They don't think about highest levels like Fields medals, Nobel prizes or Olympic medals. People will do any thing to get settled aka going into safe zone, once that milestone of 'settlement' is attained people tend to relax.

**Not bragging. Here in IIT Kharagpur getting placed is the main motto of people, once one get a placement/job people expect one to get relaxed. They say "You got placed your life is chill now!!", they'll spend rest of the time watching Netflix . They don't aim to develop a startup or do some research work. It just never happens until our thought process change, until we endure to take risks and develop the audacity to aim high.

No urgency in the play. Played very bad. The first game was pathetic. Second and third games, couldn't even feel the usual play of theirs. OTOH, Ong/Teo played like a pair with great motivation.

Next up IM where they'll face Daddies. Another huge match.

Yeahh. You're right. He has improved his smashing though. Jump smashing would give him a better momentum.
