He will be back before Rio :-(
Plz don't waste ur two months on improving ur game, tht bits fine. Use the time away with a shrink or learning meditation in a monastery.

Hey! Don't write a disrepectful comment like that, what if Kashyap reads it? He will be even more sad.

Interesting entry I've just seen (I'm entered to the same draw, so I was checking for myself!)

    Kashyap playing a FS?!

I want to play in top tournaments and not just go as Saina’s coach: P Kashyap
    2 days ago Jaideep Vaidya
The 32-year-old is a surprise semifinalist at the 2019 India Open.

Excerpts : “I have not done anything different; I just played tournaments,” Kashyap said. “I have been out of the circuit for a while till last year. So, playing a lot of tournaments on the trot has helped me, especially in the crucial moments. I’ve tried to figure out how to get out of [tough] situations. Match practice has helped me. I have also trained well for the last few months.”

However, Kashyap is looking at the bigger picture. He has two long-term goals. The first: to get into the world’s top 30 so that he can qualify for Superseries-level (Super 500 and above) tournaments.

“Otherwise I am just going for tournaments with Saina and not actually playing,” he said, with a laugh. “I want to play those tournaments. Now, next week, I am going for the Malaysia Open (Super 750) but just as the reserve coach.”

It is obviously obvious that PK will lose against KM, but boy isn't he making KM's anticipation go wrong and make him move in a few good rallies.

    Hi everyone,
I had Kashyap Parupalli from India as a guest on my podcast earlier this week and he absolutely killed it :) He shares some great stories and even proves to be a great singer at the end of the show! :)

It was a honest interview. VIttinghus style of interviewing is without hindering the flow of the opponent. Just go with the flow. He is good at it. Very good insights from one of the indian player who played for India for more than a decade.
    Thankyou Vittinghus for your effort.
Even though Vittinghus is ready to interview many top players, problem is the medium of communication. Most of the top players are from Asian countries .
I guess, that's why he could not interview many top players yet.
Highlight of this interview is Kashyap's version of Ed sheeran's "Shape of You"\.

    Glad you liked it
Sure I’ll try to get other Indians on too, but I want to mix it up a bit as well

Thanks so much! Yeah I try to do the go with flow approach if my guest is up for it - but I do actually prepare quite a bit before we start to be sharp on which direction I would like the interview to go - or any topics I definitely want to touch on. But I like interviews better where there’s no hard script to follow.
Speaking English is obviously a problem in terms of getting some players on if the quality of the interview has to be high and giving for the listeners, but there’s a long list of interesting players (and other badminton personalities) I can still try to get on. And I promise you guys, I will try
