    I don't even have a memory of a 900P. That was a something I tried nearly a decade ago...

I suggest that Astrox 100 ZZ is a lot closer to ZFII but hasnt got the weight in the top of the head. It is still head heavy but balanced throughout the head to give more of an even balance feel. This allow for a faster swing but the muscle is there. It also speeds up defence.

am actually gonna take this advice and just play with 4Us moving forward haha! Will surely get the 100zz 4u g5 once we move on from this covid19. My current racket is the 4U LDF, picked it over the 88D last year (just bec of the colorway lol). By any chance have you handled the 3U version because am just curious how it handles.

Yesterday I saw it on local store in indonesia. Ax100zz, it has longer grip than ax99. 4u version, compact frame, and I tested dry swing on it, not heavier as 88s 4u I think, so the manover will faster than 88s,

But how about power?? I used 3u 88s. And still not found 3u 100zz. On your opinion, is the good upgrade for me if I choose 3u 100zz to replace my 3u 88s?? I afraid if 3u 100zz characteristic will be more likely ax88d than 88s because I cant use 88d anymore on my style.

After another few more sessions with 100zz3u, i would say that it's quite a unique racket all together. Upon smashing, given all things optimal, the vibration is minimal and you could not 'feel' as much of the smash like any other racket. Not sure if it is due to the solid core shaft, but it's really different from the norm.

The yonex spec chart seems to be much off the actual product in terms of head heaviness, it is closer to 88s, stiffness is actually same or more than dzs

    so its feel more hollow?
Idk how to describe it. Once i try friend Panda Power (or Panda something) quite a while ago. Tho its feel heavy & powerfull smash, i feel some uncomfort vibration from it. But using my TK770, idk what it called but it feel more solid & satisfying on smashing instead of uncomfort feel. Considering its feel, so its racket feedback that we feel which i think its vibration but one is comfort to feel yet another umcomfort to feel.

Judging by the videos posted by Badminton Guide on youtube, the Astrox ZX 4U is a bit head heavier than the ZZ 4U.

    ZX: 84.9g / 317mm BP / Stiff
    ZZ: 84.7g / 304mm BP / Very Stiff

I pick the heavy one from all 16pcs 4u5 at my friend's shop, the other 4U5 is 84,85 gram until 85,95 gram, bp is about 299-305mm.
3U5 just only 2 pcs 90,65 and 91,2gram-303mm,i think not really good for double player. So heavy and very2 stiff for me.

My 100zz 4U5 new cont is
    86.1g-302mm
    I use 0.63 medium feel string 27lbs
With string, original grip, plastic+cusion wrap and overgrip
    97gram-295mm.
First time i try i like the weight, speed and head weight but feel really extra stiff for me, but my string is still new, so need more time with it.
Feel lucky i don't buy 3U one because i play double. 4U is more than enough.

For me 100zz Better power, speed, accuracy and control than all astrox raket, if you can handle the extra stiff.
88S, 88d,99 more easy to use.

Finally got my hand on it. When put under sun light, there are little shiny sparks.

So Paul bless us again with his review

    https://badminton-coach.co.uk/12426/yonex-astrox-100-zz-badminton-racket-review/

    But...
so there is 2 different racket spec.
Paul test racket had 317 BP but RF pic show 300BP only. 17BP different might be to big for production tolerance nowadays.

One problem with taking his figure as a relevant data point. It doesn't state whether he did the measurement after stringing up and gripping. Or did he do it completely dry with/without plastic.

Well, my zz BP sits around 298 with string and original grip + ac102 ,so without strings and overgrip it should be around 300-305

no, the factory balance of Paul's copy should be around 300mm dry, I know Paul said he removes the factory grip and uses Mueller underwrap and a thin overgrip. That should be about 5-6 grams on top of his wooden handle, which is around 3-4 grams lighter than a racket with a factory grip and shrink wrap still attached. You add in strings to the equation, which is around 3 grams, that's 6-7 grams of additional weight balanced towards the head, which should move the bp of a racket by 18-21mm towards the head. That means his copy was probably 296-299mm dry, which is very much in line with what the racket is supposed to be
