Getting older and thinking of getting more 'cushion' shoes for badminton. In your experience, is Yonex Power Cushion shoes worth it? It cost like $130-$150. Does the cushion last long? I don't want to buy it to find that 4 months later the cushion has gone flat. I've worn Adidas Boost bball shoes before and love it. Is it better/worse compared to Adidas Boost?

Completely different feeling than boost. Boost kind of sinks every time you take a step. I only notice power cushion while lunging to the frontcourt to pick up a drop. It is much firmer but takes away a lot of the force of a fast lunge/step. I haven't noticed it going 'flat' but I am playing every day so I wouldn't notice a gradual degradation.

Which model do you have? How long has you used it for?

65x. ~10mo. Will be going 1/2 size smaller to a new pair this month. Either 65z2 or Aerus 3 or maybe eclipsion x.

10mo is a really good time if you play every day and the cushion is not dead yet. Why new pair though?

Switched my insoles to a thinner pair and now there is too much space in the shoe. 1/2 size smaller would be nice. I don’t play every day but 4-6ish times a week.

    Hi,
I am considering a Yonex Power Cushion 65 ZM.
My foot size (with socks) is 26.0 cm. Yonex size UK 7.5 is for foot 26 cm long.
Can you suggest what size I should go for...?

My actual foot size is 26.5cm. Yonex's 27.5cm with socks of moderate thickness provides snug fit. Shoe size of 28cm might be needed if you wear thick socks or orthotic insoles.
