Maybe I would get a free one if I went to watch Viktor's final lol XD

Viktor for sure did an amazing publicity for this racket. Maybe he'll get some additional money from Yonex?

P.S. His smashes looked just as good as they usually are today. Just an impression.

Yeah nothing to hold back now, sleep can come later.
For today the word starting with S is smash.

And jeezus, big middle finger to the ZStrike which gave him the WC17 MS title lol

Yeah! i’m so amazed by VA’s performance today.. His smashes is so much thunderous than the previous matches in AE. I have also noticed VA’s defense and speed improved a lot since his changed to 100zz. Now let’s see how the 100zz perform in men’s doubles by Endo.

Note: For my previous comment regarding smash power of 100zz over DZS was just my personal opinion/observation. I’m sorry if my statement bring any misled or arguement in this thread.

Agreed but this defense and speed isn't since he changed to A100ZZ ... he has recently been increasing his running abilities. It's like he wants the rallies to get longer now compared to before. Maybe it is all preparation against Momota. Because if he learns to run well with Momota then the matches against Momota might not be so one sided.

    What did i say.
    You said it's not powerful!!:p
    Now see this.
Just check my post from page 23.

But it's true VA is playing better than before and he is stronger now.

Will the A100ZZ win over the A88S/D?

Doesn't look like it. But i'm rooting for Japan so A100ZZ it is.

Too bad Watanabe isn't using Yonex anymore.

So both AX100zz took the champion of AE2020! Is it a coincidence or the racket really did some magic there on court ?

Can’t deny that AX100zz is a very suitable racket for fast paced game especially for flat drive exchange. Suitable for singles and also doubles i suppose to say. I’m used to play with DZS, let’s hope this AX100zz is the real successor of DZS! I can’t wait to grab 1 myself

Is AX100ZX an upgrade from AX88D? Same material but it's nanomesh neo instead of nanometric.

Maybe the next iteration of the Astrox will be a frame with the same material as the shaft of the Astrox100ZZ? XD

Especially after challenging Kevin Sanjaya on the front court and winning! Kevin Sanjaya using the A88S. It would have been too perfect!

Did a comparison during Yonex demo day. Its head size is not the same as ZF2 or Z-Strike. It is taller and wider compared to ZF2.
Against the AX88D, 100zz head has same height but slightly narrower.
Against Arc11, 100zz head is slightly shorter and narrower.
For frame profile, 100zz look very much like ZF2 minus the Voltric bump, it is beefier than AX88D.
One interesting thing is the main strings on the far sides were angled like 'V' instead of the conventional 'A', not by much by it's noticeable. My guess would be moving the sweet spot a bit higher and a bit larger. The E.B.Cap Plus is comfortable to place my thumb on it, even though I usually don't grab it that high up.

I will reserve detail remarks on how does this racket plays as the demo is too short to be anything meaningful.
However on a very personal general view on the 4UG5 I tested:
    1. easier to manoeuvre than my 4UG5 AX88D.
    2. backhand/underhand swings were assisted more than AX88D.
    3. pretty mean drives and pushes when I'm on the offensive, but my 3UG6 NF800 is better.
    4. had timing issue with smashes and I did awfully.
    5. I am rubbish with net shots anyway.
    6. control is a shining point of this racket.
    7. it feels great.

TLDR: I'd buy one even if my country is currently on lockdown and no courts are opened.

Hi jctai, since u tried 100zz in 4ug5, may i know if u would be getting 3u or 4u?

I am currently also using 3ug6 nf800, it felt great, but hoping for slightly more power w/o much dropping in speed.

Just put a bit of lead tape on your frame. I also have a NF800 and normally play with head heavy rackets. NF800 lacked in power IMO. So I put some lead tape on 12 and 6 o'clock. It still has speed, but now I have more power.
