Does anyone here use PU grip that works well for sweaty palm? I used to use Yonex Supergrap, which I needed to change once in 2 weeks and Head Comfort that was decent, tacky feel but when my palm is real sweaty, it doesn't help at all in holding the racket. I tried switching to towel grip. But the problem is I get pain in my hands after a few games. If I tried putting the towel grip over a cushion wrap or even a overgrip, it feels like the handle is too big, like a squash one. So just wondering if anyone has any suggestions from PU grips for sweaty hands. Heard Karakal X-Rip was good, but unsure about Karakal totally. Sent from my HD1901 using Tapatalk
For sweaty hands the best I've tried is supergrap. Magnesium carbonate, or grip powder dries the hands and improves grip. Though usually used with towel grips, it can serve the same purpose with PU grips. Just don't use it excessively or it will make the grip more slippery. Use just enough to keep your hands dry. If you find you have to step off court too often to put it on your hands, just apply it to a wristband on your non racket arm and dry your hands on it whenever you need. Also, rather than getting special "badminton-grip-powder" in a tiny bottle, you can simply get a big bag of magnesium carbonate, used by gymnasts, climbers and as it turns out, badminton players, it's essentially the same thing, but magnitudes cheaper.

You need to buy the thin variant of towel grip and use some cushion wrap underneath. I can't remember the exact models out there since I use PU grip but there is some very thin towel grips available that should keep handle thickness down.
