Is it the knee injury that is responsible for his monotonous rallies, not playing tricky shots, not playing smart games like injured SYQ? Does he have his mind in his knee ?
I've found the reason for KS downfall in form. He needs to shave his beard. He was great when he had little beard/ clean shaved.
Maybe Bengaluru where new exclusive Li Ning showroom has been inaugurated, first of its kind in India Jokes aside, he needs to fight himself now. He himself is his opponent. Srikanth doesn't have any confidence left. If you're strong enough to watch present Srikanth play, you'll know it what I'm talking about. Sadly, I'm not that strong to see full match of present Srikanth. I literally can't. If this is how it's going to end, it's sad that a player of such calibre wasted his potential.
Srikanth's confidence is at an all time low. When the problem is a mental one, it becomes extremely difficult to overcome unless he conquers it. Instead of looking to qualify he should focus on getting his confidence back. He has lost his way and its becoming embarrassing to watch him play. Another Indian MS player qualifying is in India's interest.
AA chit chat with KS, AA offered him way too much respect. It is sad flattering KS with such bs, instead of focussing on useful game and training related stuff. 2.5 +2.5 practice is way too less.
That is showing in his results. And also, it was so funny when AA asked about Denmark players and expected Srikanth to talk about him, he was disappointed to see Srikanth talking about Victor . He intelligently stopped Sri to talk more about Axelsen. His facial expressions says it all. Come on Sri. Give this young man some credit.
It was actually Antonsen who brought up Viktor when they talked about Danish players being tall and hitting good angles. No hard feelings
I was going to post what's the prediction for tomorrow's match against Toby and then I watched this video again. Will we get this Srikanth back ? Sobs sobs
Good performance from Srikanth, this match is really played between two top players. Lets not forget that CTC is practicing with a break where as Srikanth started practicing less than 2 months ago.
It was a great effort by Srikanth. Sometimes it's the effort that counts than the result. I saw some glimpses of old Sri. Now this match should give him confidence for future events. Well done. Couldn't have asked more.
