They seem to upload it after the matches are finished, so that is nice of them I think. It's not available on Youtube for me, but I can watch it here ; https://www.olympicchannel.com/en/l...ncess-sirivannavari-thailand-masters-bangkok/ Which I guess is the official stream. Why BWF think it's a good idea that I have to go there to watch it instead of their Youtube I don't know.
Ng Ka Long has had quite the tournament this far, I don't know how much stock one should put into Kenta's 5-1 H2H. Especially since Du Pengyu's coaching is probably only improving Ng Ka Long a lot these days.
Ng Ka Long is looking much sharper now. Steering around Kenta a bit more, finding the court with his smashes.
When Nishimoto jump so high to smash, it's probably hit to the net. That is so bad. Don't jump too high
It feels like Kenta has to work more for his points than Ka Long does. So not strange if he's more tired. Very close.
I think Ka Long will win this mach, Nishimoto's smash is weak now. don't watch the match to the end and wait for a miracle
Ng Ka Long takes it. He had a really good tournament. This should still let Nishimoto move up in the rankings though, he played well. Just that Ng Ka Long really got into his game and simply played better at the end.
Nishimoto should find another coach! It's not about the good or bad coach but about "a strange wind". Like the way Chou Tien Chen did for himself and Ng Ka Long has Du Pengyu. Do the way Okuhara did
It's related to some other issues with his corporate - Tonami. Thing is not that flexible in Japan I believe
K. Nishimoto played very well in G1 but like almost all out attacking players it's physically tough to replicate that kind of performance in G2 or even worst when the opponent forces a decider with a third set. Besides Ng Ka Long is such a solid all around player. Great performance and tournament for his confidence!
Happy for Ong/Teo! I hope they can keep this momentum, enjoy the game and try their best to find a place at the Olympics
