I was playing badminton when I had to turn and dive and I got the outer side of the right knee wounded.(cement court). It is healing but today while I was climbing down stairs I experienced pain on the inner side of the knee. Can anyone explain what it is and is it safe to play if I experience pain while playing?

I got the injury on 29th December, 2019 and I have not played badminton since then except for a few matches on the same day.
It doesn't hurt while walking and I haven't tried running after the injury.

    Hi Ketan,
When you say "wounded" you mean the knee got twisted or directly hit onto the ground or anything else?

    Directly hit the ground.
Well, it's too late now:( but it would serve as a useful reference in the future:) if you reply because it has healed now.
    Thanks! ;)
