    Hi,

I'm currently looking for recommendation for a badminton shoe that has a softer top & front material, especially around the area in front of the thumb.

I currently Victor A362, pictures shown below

Basically the shoe is especially hard around the top and has injured my right thumb when I'm lunging to the point where my nail splintered horizontally even though I've trimmed the nail.

I don't mind being recommended high-end shoe as honestly I'm more willing to spend money on expensive shoe than another high-end racket. A trip to the doctor is more expensive after all, present or in the future

I’ve had the same problem and lost the whole toenail on my big toe the first time I tried a pair of shoes with leather uppers.
Currently using the Victor A830SP which I think has been discontinued but I’m sure you can still buy certain sizes in online stores such as eBay.

My previous shoes that was good for my toes was the Yonex SHB 03Z. Lightweight and soft uppers but still prefer the Victors for longevity.

I’d would buy another pair of A830P if they came up in my size.
